Im looking for a 5.25 black baybus with 2-3 fan controls and cold cathode control. This is what ive found which is perfect accept it doesnt have control for my light. Can I use one of the fan controllers to adjust my light if I run my converter with it? Thanks for any help.

get a nexus b/c they have more power and are engineered better

its hard to control the light to the point of brightness you prefer and if you have led fans, the leds will start blinking if you slow down the fans b/c lack of juice.

you can get that rheobus for your fans and add another switch somewhere for you lights.

another option is to get something like

^^^ that

it has fan speed knobs and 2 on off switches for your lights.

if i was doing this i would bake a custom one for my specific applications, but some of the prebought ones are pretty good
Here are some decent schematics and part lists for simple bay busses and rheobusses

IM not even worried about being able to dim the light.. just to be able to control it from the same baybus as the fan. If the fan controller will work ill just use that and only set it to full 12v or 0v.

If you are even slightly handy with electronics, you could replace on of the Pots with a switched potentiometer, and wire it up so the resistance part of the pot is bypassed, and the only part being used is the switch.

I got a nexus and was able to add a small switch in a corner of my Nexus baybus for my CC light. Now my only concert is this thing lights up blue and I need it red. Radio shack had the 3V T1 (3mm) LED's but they were low intensity and im also not sure at what voltage these things are running at.

cut the blue led leads so they dont light up now... doesnt look bad as my cc light shines in kinda behind it and lights it up red anyways!
