bare minimum pc specs for htpc function?

i've got a nice little p3 machine i'd like to adapt for use as a htpc. It's a 650mhz p3 with 256mb sdram on a generic motherboard. With a nice PCI AIW card, say like an ati 7500, will this machine have enough power to run a htpc setup?

it depends - do you plan on recording TV or just watching video you already have (like DivX, Xvid etc)?

Either way you're a bit on the low side for specs but you should be able to watch/listen to content with no problem.

Yeah it really depends on what you want it to do, and no that little CPU will not run an AIW like a PVR.
