Bad Ram?

I bought 1 gig of mushkin 222special. In the bios it reads as 1024 aswell as in my basic pc info, but in 3dmark03 it says1022. Is there something wrong or is that normal? Sorry for any ignorance im new to this whole thing but some input would be appreciated.

It may be a bug in 3dmark, some programs read less memory than the installed...nothing rare.
