At7 Max2 + Raid5?

Can anyone give me any info on how to update the bios of this RAID controller to RAID 5? it also says it can handle 8 devices, but I only have 2 IDE channels that I think are on the RAID controller can anyone help? I can give more info, I'm just not sure what to say.

u can only suport 6 devices

each of the SATA connectin takes 2 ide port. so 2 SATA connection are taking 4 ide devices

u can run RAID5.
u have to have the highpoint bios updated to see it

it will rmeove the RAID 1+0 option and give u a RAID5 option.
