Thanks MERLIN for the tip on enabling AGP Texture acceleration. It boosted my score by 3000 winmarks.

I am now getting 2000 more, bringing me close to 18k.

It was a pain in the butt to get this to work as it was disabled and greyed out when i went into dxdiag. Here is what i finally did to get it to work.

1. uninstalled ati drivers
2. uninstalled dx9b using utility
3. downloaded latest intel chipset driver
4. installed catalyst again
5. verified in dx8.1 it was available
6. installed dx9b
7. verified in dx9b, it was available

Would you like to elaborate on this?

Hey! Glad I could be of some help. It seems alot of people I know forget to see if AGP Texture Acceleration is enabled. It opts for a nice increase in game/benchmark performance.
