The event is free general admission. If you want to bring you computer and enjoy the LAN then you have to purchase a BYOC spot.

Finally got off my ass and built a new low wattage small form factor HTPC this last week. I have had large big uber powered HTPC systems for years but nothing that look like it belonged on the rack. With this new system I used the Logitech DiNova mini and I for one am on the edge about it...

Sad news to report. No event in this summer :) Timing and other issues came up so instead of doing a half ass event we passed on it. After the holidays we will look into putting another one together and hopefully announce something ASAP.

There will be an parking lot attendant monitoring the 300 spots and if your not lucky enough to grab one after someone leaves you will need to pay. If the lot is full there is another parking just just across the street but damn near everything downtown charges. I wish we could do free...

The venue has 400 spots total (more around them but not connected to them). I just emailed the venue to see how they will mark or control this. I will update you ASAP.

I've been asked about food a few times and I wanted to let everyone know. Eddie Deen's Ranch will be providing us with a nice and easy menu so we can get some grub at the event. Chopped Beef sandwiches, hot dogs, chips, and soda. $4 Sandwich, $2 Hot dog, $1 bag of chips, and $1 soda.

Yepp! We will have two 30 foot wide Eyefinity screens running Dirt 3 and other games. I was thinking about doing some Battlefield 3 in 3D on them too. The glasses are the issues, for everyone else it will look like poo without them. Hopefully I will have quite a few for people to use

Actually this venue is almost 4 times larger than last :) We had 2 or 3 sponsor areas last time this time we have 10+. Larger area for more/bigger tournaments and a stage area for raffles so it's not so damn cramped. Breathing room is nice :)

The event is going to rock. 11 partners on board now with more wanting to get on but I need to make room for them. Much better than the last event. It is going to be a hell of a good time.
