Unable to login to Chase.com all of a sudden

Is Edge officially supported? I know when I have issues with Chrome there is usually a Chrome update that needs applied, maybe it's the same with FF? I don't know what "claimed secure browser" is but is it something you can temporary disable and test again?

    vlan question

The router on the other vlan that is forwarding the DHCP request automatically adds the needed info to tell the DHCP server what scope the request is coming from. What router are you using? For Cisco you need a helper-address pointing to your DHCP server.

I feel like the title is a double negative. Maybe "2014 had the largest decline..." But from what I see, things are still good for IT workers.

Who, besides Cisco, for enterprise access switches?

Thuleman, We use Curvature now. Our CTO comes from an Avaya shop and is in love with them. It is his answer for everything. We don't like them so much.

Who, besides Cisco, for enterprise access switches?

Oh, there's a fight going on, but I guess we have to do our due diligence and look at all/other options. We'll compare and contrast and see which way we want to move as an organization. Higher up's only see dollar figures though, and Cisco can get pricey.

Who, besides Cisco, for enterprise access switches?

For some reason (well, many) our CTO wants to move away from Cisco. I can understand his reasons why, but I've been drinking the juice for so long I don't know who else to recommend besides Cisco. Who do you guys use? Dell, HP, Avaya.... anyone else?

Do you disable UAC in the enterprise?

There are a few applications that are used housewide and need UAC disabled to either work or install correctly. What do you do at your job in regards to UAC? Disable temporarily? Disable permanently? Pressure the vendor to rewrite their app?

[Security News] Target store hacks caused by stolen HVAC employee login credentials

Sell me on FabricPath, MLAG, or SPB

I'm in the midst of planning a data center refresh. We have a pair of Cisco 6509-E's in a collapsed core configuration. We want to reduce spanning tree so as to use all uplinks from the closets. We also want any kind of failure of one core switch to be as quick and painless as possible to the...
