The more I read the more it seems trying to get these working on Debian is just going to be pain and suffering :/

Seems I am about 3 months late as the 6.4 are now listed for $800 +. Still need to do more reading to understand how well they are supported in Linux(Debian Buster).

Both drives are out of warranty as of June 2019 (2 year warranty).

I believe the warranty is voided when removed from the enclosure. Only one drive is in enclosure and unsure of warranty.

One drive was shucked and another is still in the enclosure. Planned to get 4 more back when these were purchased (2-3 years ago) and that project never materialized. For now a picture of the one that was shucked and it's DiskInfo (shows 0 hours). EDIT - Just added the one still in the case...

Still have the 5870's and some sweet PSU's.

Added Corsair TX950's and another Seasonic 1250. Will likely be adding 1 or 2 Seasonic Gold 750's as well. The 7970's are still pending and if the deal isn't completed by Friday they will go back up FS. Appreciate the interest and the bumps

Yes, comes with all original packaging (says so above). Sapphire offers a 2 year warranty. I am fairly sure it is NOT transferable.

halodude, Now down to 7 and maybe 6. So yes, you did read correctly eight (8) cards.

Lavaheadache, Correct - they were used in OpenCL projects. They were treated well - temps were never over 70 Deg C and fans never over 55%.
