Interesting....i'll look into that. Not sure exactly what is wrong with this TV yet. Seems overly blue and very washed out to me. Spent the last 4 hours dicking with it, played some rdr2 @ 4k on a 2070. Looks horrific when game mode is activated. Only HDMI 1 can activate the UHD color mode.
Ooof. This tv has a horrific blue tint to it. Read somewhere on the net that this may be due to it living most of its life with the backlight turned waaay up. Reset to factory defaults, updated from 12x firmware to 15x with no change. RGB mode, full, 4k 60hz resolution. Both PC and game mode...
Bummer. Got it at launch as well, played it all the way thru co-op with a friend with no issues. Surprised at the excellent SLI support for a change! Hope you get it working, was a decent amount of fun.
Had a similar issue a few years ago...had something to do with my PSU (corsair ax1200i) ...for the life of me I cannot remember what I did to fix it unfortunately. I wanna say it was some sorta bug with c-states. Did you happen to flash your bios or update some mobo drivers around the time it...
Nother semi related performance update. Just left friends house who has a pair of 980ti in SLI (1350 core) and stock 6700k. 1440p, game stays mostly pegged at 144 fps (gsync). DSR'd to 4k and sits in the 70-80fps range. All settings max. Cards seeing 85%ish useage with newest driver.
with lots of mobs and action, I am seeing fps as low as 45 dsring to 4k. brief, but noticeable. still playing as such as visuals worth more than fps so far. Still average fps at 60
70 hours in and started getting back to back to back dx crashes. Tried stock card clocks to no avail. Tried repairing the files via origin. Same result. Anyone with similar issues? Sure would like to beat this.
I bet it will be close :)
Easy enough for op to monitor and upgrade if needed. Definately interested in the results.
If you have the disposable cash to go ahead and upgrade, do it.
*shrug*
I am 100% positive I am DSR from 1440 to 4k.
Running at 1440 and all setting maxed I never saw below 100 fps. Average around 120.
Also remember I am only a few hours in and still on the first station area which has alot of closed in areas.
So either my game is horribly bugged in a...
Biggest dip I have seen so far is 50fps. Highest i've seen is 65. Running around gameplay seems to stick around 55-60 fps. Using the newest game ready driver.
Just trying dsr from 1440 to 4k. Cuts my framerate in half (120 to 65) but still running damn good. All detail at max. (5820k @ 4.4 980ti @ 1450)
Also, using the zoom button (z) can be used to mark enemy's....very helpful.
Feels like the game runs at 1080..Framerates are amazing at 1440. Average over 100 with my rig. Seems like a good candidate to dsr 4k.
Just made it to my office. Still not exactly sure wtf is going on. Nor if I am spending my mods right.
Pipe wrench and a shotgun.... lol. Weapons any true pc...
Just watched the "5 year 40 million dollars" youtube video....
and while I am very aware this video is showing nothing but the bad....
oh man. The faces and the animations.....asstastic.
Loved the entire series, and bought and paid for all of them. I'll be awaiting the "demo" version on this.
oh and I need some +irony props for the aio that is from an AMD processor :D
Couldn't keep a fx 9590 cool (not that anything really can) but great for the 780ti
Recently started using spybot anti-beacon for win 10. Easy, free, and seems to be effective. Only had it about a week so far. Seems to handle most of what you are looking for.
It does however replace cortana with the office 98 bouncing paperclip with gilbert gottfried's voice.
Still...
Have a pair on the way for my 2 780ti. Have a couple unused aio coolers sitting around. For $40 a pop I was convinced to give em a shot.
Anyone have any thoughts about em yet? Will give mine once they arrive.
If you are attaching it to that 2600k it probably wont make much difference as far as cpu temps go. Hell I only run one fan on my h110 (pull exhaust, top mount) on a 4.5ghz 1.3v haswell-e and it makes little to no difference as far as temps go when gaming....
played with a few setups on my rig...
Read this thread many times, somehow i've lost what you are stating is a waste of money.... page one you say inspector gave you good gains and were happy....
Anyone who says sli is worthless or non effective or non supported or just doesn't work is 95% lying, uninformed, lazy, repeating shit...
Side note: just remember that arctic silver paste is more electrically conductive than a majority of other pastes. So make sure it goes where it is supposed to any not anywhere else :)
And honestly the paste that comes on the corsair coolers works pretty damn well compared to the crap that used...
Wow! The words pc, assassins creed, and ubisoft in a thread with positive reviews. I almost think yall are getting an early start on an April fools thread....
Nice review sir.
Incase anyone is curious about 780ti sli performance at 1440, quite frankly I am impressed. 90% detail at its highest-rated with the exception of textures at very high and hair set to on. AA set to 4 . Still pretty easy to keep the vram inside my 3gig limit with a slight...
Consider trading for the 10 miles of pata ide and floppy drive ribbon cables I just tossed in the trash? :)
Good luck with the sale. I have tons of old cards starting from 1995. Would love to sell them all at original list cost as part of the package deal for the bridge I am trying to sell...
Excelent choice when the computer also needs to function as a hovercraft or food processor.
Also prevents head on colision with wildlife when you use it as a hovercraft.
Same conclusion I drew when I retired my 2600k z68 using a pair 780ti cards. At the time I was using 3 vg248qe in portrait surround and my bus usage spiked to 99 - 100 percent constantly resulting in low gpu usage and shitty framerates.
With a chop chop here and a little file work there I was able to reattach the factory cooler around the aio.
*edit too stupid for pics atm, one sec *
Just need to complete the wiring hiding now.... pcb temps under control again and life is good, cept for the poor zip ties killed in the...
Hmm, no sir they do not. Nvidia inspector does everything and a whole lot more. You need to take a closer look. The only thing I can think of that inspector doesnt do is fan profiles. And fan profiles really are more efficient when used with a custom bios.
