I figured out the solution incase anyone knows anyone experiencing this problem. I turned down wave to 10%, and cranked my speakers. WALA! No more popping, at all, period, never. Pretty pleased, was considering buying a new soundcard :)

I think it's been about a month. Is that realistic? If I set the mode to audio creation mode the popping goes away, but the sound is awful. So it's none of those issues... unfortunately... I'm using the most recent drivers.

Auzentech drivers are up to date. I've been to the website. I've got a P5K Deluxe on windows xp... Not sure what to download to bring my mainboard up to date...

I don't think my Mobo is up to date. Don't really know. Their auto update program seems to be entirely useless... I go to the Asus website and try to find the drivers, and it's the most confusing process in the entire world. Typically downloading drivers doesn't stump me too much... Maybe...

Alright, so I've overclocked my computer from an intel dual core e6420 2.1ghz to 3.2 with cpu voltage at 1.45 STABLE. Then I changed my OCZ platinum xtc 6400 ram timings from 5-5-5-15 to 4-4-4-15 (which are default, I dont understand why my motherboard would set it to 5-5-5-15...) It's sort of...

I haven't touched the ram mhz... So it's 6400 (400x2 for double duty?) I finally got it stable at 4-4-4-15 @ 2.0 volts and 400x8 3.2ghz @ 1.45 volts. How do I adjust the mhz of the ram? and is it worth it?

The icemat siberias are pretty freaking sweet. Good if you don't have a soundcard as well, as it comes with an external virtual 7.1 surround soundcard... Not the best, but good enough for the price.
