Supposedly Valve has mentioned that all three models have a M.2 2230 slot on them and that anything in said slot is upgradeable but not user-upgradeable, which of course people will figure out. And the RAM is indeed dual-channel.

According to some sites you won't be able to free update to it until first half of next year. You'll have to buy it before then if you can't wait. Seems ridiculous.
You might want to hit up the Nvidia website and grab the nforce/GeForce 9300 chipset drivers for windows 7, there was likely no windows 10 specific driver.
Friends don't let friends buy those G5 Desktops. GN basically wiped their butts with it, the one they tested was terribad minus maybe the power supply.

It is not Asus though.
The prices/availability really make me a  panda. Currently on a GTX 1070 and have a GTX 970 as a backup for now. Really wanted to move up to GTX 3xxx but no way in the effin' universe am I paying the current extortion $$$. Not buying a pre-built just for the GPU either, local Craigslist...
Not sure if it has been mentioned here today but Newegg has the Ryzen 5 5600X back in stock and for $299/shipped. Cheapest I saw on Amazon was like $320+ IIRC. I believe it had been OOS at Newegg for quite some time.
Every gaming machine I build I install this on a fresh Windows 10. That way the end user doesn't have to worry about it. If I don't and they have issues with older games, I will never hear the end of it. :ROFLMAO:
Last two system builds from scratch on Ryzen systems with one storage device (NVMe drive) I installed Windows 10 Pro 2004 x64 from a USB drive created with the MCT. I'm only seeing on the partition screen during the install:
1: System
2: MSR (Reserved)
3: Primary
(4: Recovery) <-- Not showing...
That's not even NVMe. WD website for new customers (?) right now has the 1 TB Black w/heatsink for around $140 after you toss it into the cart and hit checkout. Discount won't show until checkout supposedly so don't freak out if you don't initially see the discount. This is the version with...
I'm more impressed with the fact that as of this post it is actually in stock. It's a real bloodbath right now finding boards in stock that are <$500 ROFL.
GN had a recent video out indicating that *knock on wood* in the next few weeks mobo, video card and power supplies should start showing back in stock in larger quantities. Newegg stock on those items is bad, real bad.
There might be an activation troubleshooter you can run to see if it fixes the issue. I have had one 1909 --> 2004 un-activate on me. Ran the activation troubleshooter and it re-activated.
