The Mandrake installer offers an upgrade option. Just boot from the CD and use that option. Everything *should* still work fine.

Yeah, can't go wrong with the egg. 92mm is actually $1 cheaper than the 80mm shipped there.

If you can stand the noise w/the 80, then go for the 92. It's got a higher dba rating, but would think it'd be lower pitched so that'd compensate. Never had an 80mm version though, so can't say.

I've got it running a 92mm tornado. Slows it down fairly well. Still loud though.

ATItool isn't happy unless I'm at 400/380. I can hit the core up to 425 and run 3dmark and aquamark all day long and I don't see any errors. Mem on the other hand, won't budge over 380. Running a Sapphire 9800pro w/stock cooling.

The 92mm is rated for 1.0 amps.

I just recently upgraded to a 9800pro from a gforce2 mx. If the past is of any indication, I'll be set for quite a while.

I haven't noticed a diffrence at all between 4.2s and 4.3s.

I had no problems at all getting my nvidia card set up under linux. My 9800pro on the other hand annoyed me. I didn't get it set up, but I didn't mess with it too much either, so.

You should have room in the front for a 92mm intake fan. Can always put one there.

I had to bump mine up to 1.85 to get my 2500+@3200+ stable. Anything less and the Asus chick would yell at me and so would windows.
