I just purchased the spec'd out 15 inch macbook pro, and it freezes quite often. I had two hard resets in the past 24 hours, and if i dont turn it off when i go to bed, the display sleeps and never comes back. Every time the display slept whilst idle it dies, if im listening to music, it works...
