Looking to get an older machine running...
Need - 8gb's - either 4x2 or 2x4 - doesn't matter to me. Looking to buy ASAP, will be checking PM's all day.
LMK what you have and how much, thanks!
I've had to contact Corsair twice in 10+? years for service, and they've always been exceptional - so much so that I still count both experiences as some of the best I've had with any manufacturer.
Just got off the phone, they're going to overnight me another one and apologized..
This exp has just been bleeeeh 5 weeks...
At least they took care of it, we'll see how it goes, I may/may not need to make that other thread, may just do it to detail my exp, we'll see.
Thanks for the info.
Did'nt think it should have happened
Actually guys, it's directly from a major video card manufacturer (gg sp?).
I'm gonna call them here shortly and see what they have to say before I call them out and make that other thread...
Thanks for the info so far guys =)
Any more info?!
Was just wondering - I recently recieved a video card from a major company (6800GT).
It was supposed to be new, it was shrinkwrapped, looked new enough from the outside, however - there's dust on a fair portion of the card, as if it had been in someone's system for a while...
I've bought...
I've done some googling, and come to the conclusion, this modem sucks.....
I can't run docsdiag on it, and it automatically disables the built in diagnostics pages (192.168.100.1 on this modem).
How gay.......
My pings have been very good and continue to be, except for those 20 second "issues" where everything just dies.
Went ahead and did the speed tests:
Your download speed : 2698620 bps, or 2635 kbps.
A 329.4 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 360960 bps, or 352 kbps.

Wanted to also mention that this is a wired setup only, no wireless in use, already had someone ask me that.
Also, seems to happen at any time of the day, be it 12 noon or 3 am, and always at varying frequencies.
Otherwise that's about it.
Hey guys,
Just moved and signed up with Time Warner's Road Runner service in my area. It was great for the first two weeks or so - Now, however is a much different story.
The issues:
When gaming online, I lag out for 20 seconds or so - sometimes every other minute, sometimes once every...
Noticed on the front page the blurb about the abit-fatality board having been outfitted with independent clock gens -
Why was'nt this done years ago, thought I read an article outlining some technical difficulties going that route? Anyone have more info on the subject?
Maybe it's just me, but I don't feel comfortable sending an expensive LCD via USPS, insurance or not....
Had a few boxes mailed to myself, USPS insured when I moved a few states away - they were smaller, lighter, and still looked like pure hell when they got there.... 1 month later.
BTW...
Oops, I always forget something :P

http://www.asus.com/prog/spec.asp?m=V9950&langs=09
Hey guys, time to sell this thing - gotta get ready for the new cards :)
I dont have any pics of it in my system, however it does look exactly the same as those below, no mods done aside from the flash.
5900 NU speeds =
400 Core
850 Memory
5950 Flashed Speeds =
475 Core
950 Memory...

I picked it up at a local computer show to hold me over till the new sockets
It runs 250 1:1 for 3.5 at default voltage on this shitty mobo (asus p4s800d-e, yes sis chipset). I'm fairly...
Looking for a retail 2.6 or 2.8 that oc's to the 3.6 or higher range, interested in what board/memory/voltage/ps you're currently using.
Will be using it on a P4C800D-E myself....
Willing to buy out right, or trade two 256MB PC4000 OCZ sticks (+cash maybe).
Mem Link...
I've been out of the AMD loop for quite sometime, getting ready to build another computer for the gf.
Debating between a p4 C and an AMD of some sort?
The mobile's seem to be all the rage right now - why is that??
Motherboard recommendations and cpu recommendations welcomed.
I'm also...
There's two ways to do this,
1. With a regular cdr drive and EMULATION via alchohol or other software.
2. You need to buy a high quality cdrw such as a Lite-On that has the ability to make exact 1:1 backups - without using the EMULATION features of alchohol/clonecd/bw/whatever.

heh, Czar
I think your buddy is the one threadcrapping, this is a thread about some dude's benchmarks on his system. This discussion does'nt even belong in this thread - as a moderator, if you're going to pull out the "flaming" stick, do so fairly.
I would'nt buy a damn thing from monarch.... never again....
Good luck trying to return anything, even if it is BROKEN......
As for calling to make sure it's the right thing - GL again....
If anyones that interested, my review is on reselleratings.com under this name, about 4-5 pages...
I've also had no problems with OCZ whatsoever, I never did get caught up in the early fiasco's however. I've used two sets of ram up till this point, and am getting ready to use another 4 sticks in my new rig - can't wait....
