Thank you for the nomination! It was fun to play with settings for PrimeGrid for the last half of the year and felt good to place 3rd for our team overall. My other goal was to break into the Top 50 for F@H which I accomplished as well. Currently I am trying to get 20 BOINC projects over 1M...
Nice bonus on the DYFL tasks. My 3080 took around 18 hours but it granted almost 1M points. I only had it at 64% power. I pushed it up to 80% to see what kind of gain I can get.
3070 is around 29 1/2 hours at 62%. I will bump that one to 80% as well to see what the time shortens by.
Update...
My 5900 is averaging just under 11.5 hours for Woodall running 6 threads per task. My 3600 is averaging around 12 hours for Woodall at 6 threads per task. I am not getting too many Cullen tasks.
I was able to run two tasks just to see if one project was faster than the other. The results were extremely close and the difference is probably FAH in the background using a virtual thread or me browsing the internet.

For the upcoming challenge, do you leave the thread/task ratio at 1:1 or is it better to increase it?
I know the overall instructions recommend it but some of these challenges see a benefit while others do not.
I had to drop down to 4 cards dedicated to F@H and left the other 2 mining. I only have a Pentium Gold cpu in there with 4 threads. Attempting all 6 left them with low power draw and the 6th card idle. Now the 4 on F@H are pulling over 75% power.
That 3060ti is the very base model from eVGA. It is the short card of the bunch only requiring a single power connection. Solid little card but I am sure it lacks some performance compared to higher end 3060ti. You also have the ubuntu advantage going for you, haha!
Yes, both are pushing almost exactly 14,250 points per day per core looking at these numbers. I have not played with PBO or performed any overclocking on the 5900x and just left it as is for now.
3060ti - 160 Watts (Stock except for power at 80%)
Low WU - Averaging 190 seconds per WU for 457 pts. At 448 WU/day is 214k pts.
Mega WU - Averaging 199 seconds per WU for 479 pts. At 434 WU/day is 208k pts.
6900xt - 242 Watts (All stock settings)

To me it seems more and more project have come online over the years as we try to spread the love out. Folding@Home was like an original that I worked on initially but now am spread out on others.
I recall running -bigadv on my 920 and it made me cut my gaming back to try and hit deadlines while increasing the bonus. That same 920 is tuned down some for its senior years to 3.2GHz but is currently on Rosetta for the Marathon at 6 threads.
I have Coserv here on the north side of Dallas, TX. I have a time of use plan with a different rate during "peak hours". My rigs have the BOINC schedule setup to only run between 20:00 and 15:00. So they do run during the 6am - 8am time frame for part of the year at the peak rate but for the...
Thanks for the config, that is very helpful. FAH gets a few units a day but most of the time it is trying to connect to download or trying to upload.
Edit: I did have to use the command "exclusive_app" instead of "exclusive_gpu_app". Not sure why but it may be my system setup, I use an...
After adding the AVX2 (or AVX) files, I now get computation errors. :( Anyone else get the error? It may be something simple. The AVX2 is working, I get the event log message that it started and my processor is just an old 920.
