What's up with the Wallye site right now? It's saying that a new product is to be revealed soon. Are you still selling bags on the Wallye website or are you merging your site with the new SFFLab one?
I haven't seen much about the bottom hats. Do they work the same as the top hats?
Also, do you think it would be possible to do a custom watercooling loop inside this case? My only concern is where to mount the pump/res. Perhaps if you've used a short GPU it could be possible?
Very impressive!
Do you have any recommendations for a small reservoir like the Alphacool one? If not, how did you manage to get rid of the air bubbles in the mini water tank? I'm looking to watercool my HPTC. Just finished with my Ncase, although still waiting on my windowed side panel from a...
Tempered glass or acrylic? Will it be a full piece or will it have cutouts (either in the steel or vent holes)? So I take it that it will "protrude" 3mm inside the case?
Price?
Looking forward to the next Ncase to come out. Not sure what it will be with all the current projects in limbo, but it's good to see some progress nevertheless. Almost pulled the trigger on a HTPC case this weekend, so this one in particular has my interest.
Well, to answer my own question, Performance PCs charges $69 plus shipping back. You'll have to send the panel to them first. Unfortunately, it's a bolt-on type system and it's acrylic. There was no mention if it was cell-cast acrylic or not (cell-cast is more premium than what most...
I'm very interested in this. Do you know what kind of window material do they use? Is it acrylic or tempered glass? Also, do you know about how much it cost?
Wow! Looking very good. I can't wait for this case to come out. Even the feet mesh well with the distinctive "Ncase" look.
Have you thought more about mounting locations for SSDs and/or HDDs?
Never say never. Even if it is acrylic or without a window, there's always enthusiasts that will mod it for tempered glass. Now I have to admit that I prefer glass over acrylic (plexi), but I understand the manufacturing and shipping challenges involved here. I would hate for Necere to get so...
I find it remarkable that the Ncase M1 has and ODD slot, not because discs are becoming obsolete, rather I'm amazed that I can fit an ODD along with 2 full size 140mm fans, 2 -120mm fans, a full size graphics, 2 SSDs, and the list goes on. To fit all that in a case this size is amazing. I don't...
I guess I'm the minority that would like an ODD. I say if it doesn't affect anything else and it fits, why not? This case will look great in my TV entertainment console.
The new redesign isn't bad, a little thick sure, but I think it offers better support for lots of use cases. I prefer the original design, but would definitely consider the redesign if it was able to be used horizontally as well as vertically.
Just wanted to pop in and say that I love the work you are doing. I'm looking forward to being able to fit my Ncase M1 and a monitor in a carry-on soon.
Are you talking about G-Unique? I'm not using mine at the moment. Would you want to use mine as a sample? Maybe we could work something out like I send it over if you pay for the shipping both ways?
Would you call it coil whine? There's been reports of some coil whine from S4 Mini builds. I think in particular it's when running stress tests. Seems like these small PSUs are more susceptible to coil whine than their larger counterparts.
Don't think so because they are separate lights instead of one. Having both on at the same time would just show up as a red and blue light in 2 places.
Is there an update on the timeline for this? Would this go back on Kickstarter or would you take pre-orders from your website? I'm looking at building another computer soon and would like to keep the next case in the Ncase family.
Mine has held up well. The only thing I don't like is that the frame's paint rubs off easily. You have to use painters tape or risk scratching off paint. But the panels cover up the frame so not a big deal.
Just a quick PSA. EVGA listed the wrong dimensions for the 1080 TI FTW3 card. It's actually longer AND taller. The width is still double slot though. If you thought the 1080 FTW was a pain to fit in your case, good luck with the FTW3. It probably won't fit. I had a 1080 FTW and it was the height...
