USPS shows that my case was processed through a Polish facility on June 12, but the current state is that it still shows 'origin post is preparing shipment.' This is disappointing.
Is it confirmed that if we fund from USA that we will get 25% refunded? That would be $49 for the super early bird.
Is there any info on specifically what the hats can hold? I'm specifically interested to know how many 3.5" drives can fit in the different hat types, but I'd like to know all the...
They already have the L9x65 - if they weren't going lower than that, I don't see why they wouldn't have just suggested that. "Hopefully" is only vague in terms of timeline, not eventuality.
The noctua AM4 bracket is not compatible with the L9a/L9i, but noctua has said that they are working on a low-profile AM4 cooler that should be out in the coming weeks. Given that there are no ITX boards yet, these upcoming low-profile noctua AM4 coolers should satisfy people who are merely...
$90 is not the starting price for mATX cases. That's a straw man. For mATX, you can easily find cases for $20-30 and good ATX power supplies can often be had for $30. I love ITX and my last three PC cases have been ITX, but to say they are the best value is just not true.
Small usually carries a price premium. The power supplies are more expensive, the boards are more expensive, the cases are more expensive. If you're going tiny ITX, you will likely be spending more for most parts over an mATX or ATX build.
I would quickly fund this in full copper, but 2000 units seems like it would be impossible to reach - especially when considering that this wouldn't work in other cases like the Node 202 or Sentry.
The denser the fins are, the louder it will be, so I don't think it is so smart to go so dense.
My tracking still shows it's in Germany. I used to think DHL was fast because everything that ships DHL from China gets to me in like three days, but I guess they can be extremely slow.
I'm really curious if the MSI 1070 would fit in the Sentry. I imagine that it would not, but if it would, then this will definitely be the card for my Sentry.
I backed it, just like I backed the Sentry, Dancases, and NCASE, but it doesn't look like this one will get funded.
It seems like they didn't do as much testing as they should have. I don't see why they wouldn't have tons of different mounting holes so you can run different configurations of...
NUCs generally use low-wattage (15W) dual-core U parts. There are some exceptions, but usually those are even lower-wattage parts. Intel does make a quad-core 45W nuc, but it is extremely expensive. STX can use any socketed parts including unlocked K parts. STX can use custom cooling so you can...
Is this the most up-to-date rendering? How can you mount any drives to the mobo side next to the psu if there are no mounts? Are there more pics of different test builds that have been done beyond what's on rationalbananas?
Anyone know where I can get a right angle power cable to replace my left angle? I've been wanting to get one for months, but it's never available when I check.
It's not looking good for the funding. Needs some more publicity...
If you don't meet the funding goal, is the case going to be scrapped or can you do a smaller run?
I imagine this has already been suggested, but couldn't you have rotated the PSU and put it on the mobo side to cut down on the height of the case? Might lose one of the front fans, but the case would be much smaller.
It is my experience that blowers will be louder and result in worse gaming performance even in a case with no fans. They should only be used when you care more about temps than performance.
What was the "oversized" card that was tested and is known to fit? In the configuration tool, it shows a 170mm oversized card - what card was that? The GTX 970 ITX? By Gigabyte or ASUS?
