Lol I totally forgot about those buttons on the bottom of the monitor. Oops lol. They aren't really easily accesible without moving my center speaker out of the way.
Does the remote fully turn off the monitor though, the same as the button would?
How do you guys "turn off" your monitors at night or when you are not going to use it for a while? Do you just leave it on standy (the red light flashing) or do you turn it off via the remote?(although I'm not sure if that's really turning it off because since when can you fully turn off a...

My VLC is version 2.2.2 Weatherwax. I should update it. I didn't think to for some reason lol.
In Nvidia Control Panel, if I try to change it to GPU and click Apply, it just goes back to Display.
Does anyone else get bad screen tearing when playing videos in VLC player?
Not a biggie though, since I have since changed to MPC-HC which is for the most part tear-free. It also seems to be much better at upscaling video, and has less jagged edges, Just wondering if it happens to anyone else.
Has anyone peeled away the plastic strip along the bottom of the monitor yet? The one with the red warning sticker. Because in one of the reviews on Amazon the guy said it says "you remove plastic, you cannot return".
I'm thinking of peeling off the strip up from the right and cutting it off...
Got my monitor a few days ago. I ordered my monitor on Tuesday morning and it arrived on Friday. I'm really enjoying it so far, with no major problems at all. I ordered it from accessorieswhole, and just got the normal, NON-pixel perfect version. Thankfully there are ZERO dead/stuck pixels as...
Haha yep. It is indeed.
So is this a problem though? Are my current monitor and TVs likely to also be stuck at 100% backlight if there is no option to change it? Would viewing a monitor with 100% backlight at night be bothersome, even with dark themes and low brightness (which I currently use...
Both my monitor and my TV don't seem to have a backlight option. Just brightness. In fact I didn't even know about backlight settings being a thing until recently. My current monitor I have on 0 brightness due to how bright 100 is. I assume my "brightness" on my current monitor is actually just...
Damn. What do you mean by distortion? Do you mean like a big patch of grey when on a black screen? That must be a fault in this particular screen I would guess. Maybe it got knocked around during shipping.
That doesn't sound good. If its that bad I'm surprised the others haven't mentioned it as...
What's better to run this at on the PC? 4:4:4 8bit, or 4:2:0 10bit?
Will there ever be a better version of HDMI 2.0 cable that would allow for 4:4:4 10bit 4k60Hz that work with the ports on this screen? Like HDMI 2.0b or whatever? Or will this tv (when used as a 4K monitor at 60Hz) forever be...
Thanks for the pics. Question, I see you have HDMI mode on PC Mode, what exactly does that mean and what are the other options? Does that mean if you plugged some other devices like a Blu-ray player or PlayStation in the other ports, would you need to change it to TV Mode and then back again?
I found out that it seems HDMI 2.0 isnt good enough to do 4K@60Hz with both 10bit colour and 4:4:4 at the same time. At 4K@60Hz you must choose one or the other it seems. http://ep.yimg.com/ay/yhst-25967117716530/5x1-hdmi-switcher-with-hdmi-2-0-8.gif
Apparently DisplayPort 1.2 can do both at...
Did you try the Blu-ray player yet? Playing 24fps movies is very important to me as if I get a 4K monitor I plan for it to double up as a movie watching screen.
Can this monitor be hooked up to a UHD Blu-ray player? I read some nonsense about some bs called HDCP 2.2 that may not make this possible.
I really want this monitor, but if it can't double up as a screen to watch UHD Blu-rays on then that may be a huge deal breaker.
