It's quite clean looking, but I really really love the side IO instead since it adds a nice accent to the design and makes it look super clean.
Edit: The IO in the front like that remind me of how HP's old glossy desktops had a similar set up and it just gives a bad taste in my mouth.
Man I really love the design of this case, its absolutely gorgeous and I love the glass side panel with the offset colored side IO. I only have 2 questions really: 1) Will the tempered glass side panel be offered in the initial batch of the Dan C4's and 2) Is there any way really to be able to...
Hmm interesting, I was wondering if fans in the gpu, cpu, and psu would be possible areas of problems, glad to hear that that's not the case. Besides that, I'm hoping to score a 1tb ssd for my rig to replace my 2tb hdd, so I may be capable of removing any problems with magnets at all entirely...
I used that combination for a while in a Silverstone Ml08-B Milo case and I found that it wasn't bad at all, the only one thing that really made noise in my system was my gpu, hopefully the noise shouldn't too bad for you either :D
Point taken, I think there's definitely a little bit of a conflict on where to ask as people buying or selling here would ensure that people are interested in this particular product, but also all the asking for cases for sale here only clutters the thread and makes it hard for questions and...
I'm interested in Silver if anyone has one they're willing to part with
Thanks for the advice, but I plan to use 3 drives since I'm gonna swap out my m.2 SSD for a 2.5 inch one (long story short, mobo died and I had to buy a new one that didn't have an m.2 slot on it). Maybe I'll end up using...
On the subject of SFX-L I hate to ask but I wanted to know whether it is possible to fit two 2.5 inch drives to fit in the case. From the looks of it, one drive should be able to fit no problem but two seems very... difficult to say the least.
Ohhh maybe sticky magnets on the inside of the case on the panels to let the filter stick on. Although I wonder if magnets too close to parts would be detrimental to the health of the parts.
O.O, I leave for 2 months and I find out that glass side panels are gonna be a possibly? Time to be broke :D. But in any case, I was wondering Dan, could you provide a rough estimate of when you think the case with included glass panels (as an accessory or replacement? asking out of curiosity)...
Thanks a bunch :D, really appreciate it. Now I hope you don't mind, but I have a few more questions.
1) So when you cut open the angled power cord, are the wires in a relatively understandable order that I could figure out how to sold them to the C14 panel mounted connector to wire it up...
I hate to ask, but what pci-e adapter and psu power plug rerouting cable did you use? I'm planning to toy around with some acrylic to make a clear case computer and was wondering if you could point me the right direction for those particular items.
Really? Crap, i was possibly gonna sell mine to a friend when he built his pc cause i may buy a bigger case, but now if i change case, i may still hold on to mine then :S. Dang it cryorig
I'm using a 6700k currently, and Ill have to check the temps sometime once I get the opportunity (it'll be a bit since I'm going on vacation starting tomorrow so I'll get back to you on that when I'm back.)
Hmm, I'm surprised by your statement on the Cryorig C7 cooler, I'm currently using that now and haven't had any problems (and before I bought it, I also read lots of positive reviews on it).
Spacers wouldn't be a bad idea, it'd definitely help quite a bit, but I wonder how one would go forth with mounting the glass then (screws would definitely be the obvious choice, but could scratch or even crack the glass). I'm still a bit skeptical that there may not be enough air getting into...
Hmm I love the concept of putting glass panels on the side, but I fear it wouldn't be very plausible because of breathing constraints. The current side panels of the case are made to allow components to breath and since the front and back are mostly closed off, the only way air would come in...
Well Dondan did state that if atleast 1000 cases sell, he'll consider making a permanent item to sell as he produces. Besides that, guess it'll be a while before cases start being sold and produced again. I may just grab a cougar QBX as a temporary, and sell it to my best friend once he starts...
Q-Q I missed the deadline to buy a case by a few hours, sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.....eeeeet.
Surprisingly, I like the reviews because it can be pretty informative, especially because he's capable of completely dismantling some of the products and showing everything that's going on. It really helps to allow me to judge flexibility in editing or changing parts in computers, or seeing how...
Haha, well I'll definitely see how temps are normally and see if there's room. Best play it safe by starting out at normal nominal temps. The good news is that I live in the northern half of the United States (flip flop between New York and Indiana for home and college) and shouldn't see...
I felt the same, I rather have unlocked just for the potential, then to be locked down with no room to crank up.
Thanks for the response, definitely awaiting LTT's review. As for cpu, I think I'll still stick with 6700k and just not toy with OC too much.
Answering back about the 4k...
No worries and thanks for the info :D
Haha ya, that's what I was planning to go with but someone recommended the be quiet! Shadow Rock LP (although I don't think they did enough research on the size constraint).
In any case, are there any other options out there that you guys would...
Question, can you confirm for me whether the be quiet! Shadow Rock LP cooler will work in the sentry (I think it should but I just wanna double check).
Thank you so much for the quick response and update. I didn't know that you changed your method of sale but dang I hope these cases will be able to get the green light soon and that I'll be capable of making a build before the end of June :o (you can bet I'll be one of the first to buy the...
So I was wondering, do you think that there is any room for overclocking gpu and cpu's in this case? I know that the gpu and cpu are located in separate compartments to ensure that they don't affect each other temperature wise, and that water cooling would require some insane skill or would be...
So I'm definitely late to the party, but, when are you expecting your first run to be in and ready to sell? Also, what is the expected price of production units (or even one of your prototypes). Thanks and great work on the computer case :D
