After 2 months of trying, I was finally able to snag a 3080 FE off of Best Buy this morning.

Needs to be an option for "maybe". Have two pre-orders in the hopper (Amazon.de and Adorama), so I don't know if I have one or not.

Looks like GAINWARD branded 3090s and 3080s were posted to their website too early, and subsequently removed. Screengrabs were captured however. Confirmed HDMI 2.1 on both. Interestingly enough though is that the listing for the 3080 states 2 8-pin connectors for the power requirement...

Nice...one of my old threads. I actually picked up the 43S525 back in 2018, and I'm still using it today. I didn't see any update from this year's CES regarding a new 5 series replacement for monitor use. Did anyone get info on what may be coming this year for that purpose?

I still have two one them! One actively used in portrait mode next to my 43" 4k TCL, and one in the closet as a spare. Bought them each for about $215 or so...I think I've gotten pretty good value out of them. :)

I guess it's what bothers you then. I don't notice it at all when I game or watch movies on it. Maybe I'm just not that sensitive as I don't notice PWM flicker either. About the only thing that drives me up the wall are banding issues.

Purchased my 1080ti a few weeks ago directly from EVGA. If your persistent and watch the website like a hawk, you can still get cards for MSRP. Flipped my 1070 to a 1080 to a 1080ti over the past 6 weeks or so that way.

These prices have been hell for most gamers, but I've actually benefited from it. Went from a 1070 to a 1080 to a 1080 ti hybrid for around $110 total over the past two months just by buying at MSRP and selling the previous cards on Ebay.

Picked up a EVGA 1080 on sale for $499 from NewEgg during a holiday sale a few weeks ago. I put my 1070 up on Ebay for $440 BIN, to test the waters. It sold in less than 8 hours. It was $60-$70 *more* than what I paid for it originally.

AVS Forum just had a writeup on the 2018 TCL lineup announced at CES. http://www.avsforum.com/tcl-lcd-tvs-ces-2018/ From that write up, it looks like they will offer up a 43" 5 series with HDR, Dolby, and wide gamut color. No mention of how many nits for HDR, but they're also pitching auto...

It's odd that so many people have experienced hot bezels. Mine has been cool to the touch since day one. Good to see these panels winding up in the hands of so many though. It really has been an excellent monitor so far.

Yep, I was having a few strange issues until I switched over to GPU scaling in the nVidia control panel.

We posted screencaps in post# 69, 74, and 78 in this thread. In terms of the picture I posted, I fully disclose though that I only had my cell phone camera handy. The comparison monitor in my snapshot is an Achieva Shimian 1440p monitor without a scalar board (DVI-D input only).

I'm not sure that test by Jann is indicative of all of these monitors. There were 2 or 3 of us in this thread who posted lag screenshots around the 30ms range. There are many people in this thread which have also posted that they perceive no lag when playing games (myself included). Granted...

How "prehistoric" is your card? It may just be that your card can't push 3840x2160 without serious dips if framerate. 4k is about 2.7x the pixels of a 1440p monitor. I'm running with a 970 and can still see serious dips in fps on some games. Or are you playing at a lower resolution?

Strange, I haven't seen any other complaints about lag on this monitor. Have you tried a different DP cable? I'm using a 15' cable from Amazon instead of the included cable. Have you verified that you're running at 60Hz instead of 30? Edit: I double checked and PC Menu is also greyed out on...
