Sorry if this has been asked before. Doing some searching and I feel like I am missing some information.
AMD 5800X
32GB DDR4 4000
RTX 4090
Samsung S95B 55" OLED
I have the settings set to "custom" which is basically everything on its highest setting + DLSS/Ray Reconstruction/Frame Generation...
I have heard a lot of conflicting information regarding the use of DLSS.
Some people say that using DLSS 2.0 or 3.0 (3.0 for me soon as I just got a 4090) barely hurts visuals. Not noticeable at all.
Others say that you can't experience "true 4K" with DLSS. It just hurts the quality too much...

It's come to my attention that both of my displays cost is actually more expensive than a single 48" OLED.
It's primarily a gaming/web browsing PC. It does almost nothing else.
Monitors are the Samsung G7 32" and a LG 34" Ultrawide. Both are rated great for gaming. But I am seeing some pretty...
I am looking for a RPG to play. I played The Witcher 3 on X Box One X for about 5-6 years but got pulled away from it.
Now I have a fairly capable PC and was thinking about starting it over. But I am kind of a graphics snob. Do the mods really enhance the graphics enough to be appreciated?
To...
I have an 1800sq foot bi-level.
2 Eero 6 Pro nodes... so plenty overkill.
I have the main node located pretty much in the center of the second floor (2 feet from my modem).
The second node was purchased strictly to give my Ring Motion Sensor and sons Miku all the wifi they would need to work...
Rtings.com has an ICC profile for my G7 and LG.
I loaded both of them into the appropriate monitor profiles. Hit "set as default" and then apply.
But there's no visible difference. Is there another step I am missing?
Hello, all!
My PC is in my signature. I'd be adding this card to that rig.
I don't want anything crazy since my PC is no where near my primary source of audio.
But my Focal XS Book has RCA's that i'd like to use in place of the 3.5mm.
I am looking for something fairly decent, but not...
32" is on sale on Amazon for $700. So I grabbed one! It's going to work so nicely with my LG 34" ultra wide! Woooooooo
Still hoping to hear some person experiences with this monitor!
LG 34GP83A
That's the monitor I have.
I can run 144hz and 10bit
I can run 160hz and 8bit
My gaming never sees 144fps let alone 160fps.
Is there any reason to leave it at 160hz and 8bit over 144hz and 10bit?
I ran dual monitors for several years and always loved using "ultramon" that allowed to me quickly pass windows from screen to screen, minimize, maximize through both screens, etc... just made dual monitors easier to use. Is that something people still use with Windows 10? Is there anything else...
I currently have a 34" LG Ultrawide (curved). I love it. The model is in my signature.
But I am looking for a new monitor. Not because I want to replace the ultrawide, but because I want a 16:9 for some games. I want to shop as if I am buying my primary monitor all over again.
I really liked...
My RTX 3080 seems to be underperforming based on UserBenchmark.
I have it set to +66 and +600 on MSI Afterburner.
I'd like to hear what people are getting at while keeping it stable.
My 5800X has a mild overclock using Ryzen Master. But it doesn't seem to do anything. It never hits the...
What's the best/fastest way to setup a gaming PC with 2 harddrives?
Windows/Programs on main harddrive and then games on second?
I've read a few different things about which way to go for the best/fastest way to do things. But I have a 1TB Samsung 980 Pro and I need a secondary now. I was...
My Samsung 980 Pro sequential read/write is only around 3000mb. Isn't that really slow for the drive?
Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus Elite
Processor: AMD 5800X
Shouldn't these be enough for the harddrive to do its thing? Or is there a setting?
I found an AMD 5800X and a MSI RTX 3080 Ventus available at a PC builder's mercy... so I went with him.
I pretty got everything I wanted EXCEPT the motherboard/case.
Case: Lian Li Dynamic o11 Dynamic
Motherboard: Gigabyte Auros Elite x570
CPU: AMD 5800X
GPU: MSI RTX 3080 Ventus
Harddrive: 1TB...
Building a gaming PC and I am gonna go with the 5800X or 5900X. GPU was supposed to be the RTX 3080... but you all see how that is going. Not good at all.
I WAS going to pick up a MSI X570 Unify...
This should be fairly strong setup for modern gaming at a quality FPS. But I really want to make sure I am not forgetting or overlooking anything.
I'm not to comfortable with my motherboard or heatsink choice. Staying air cooled so I am hoping the Noctua delivers awesome cooling like I had...
To run audio through my PC's external audio card so that the DAC is used first before going into my Anthem MRX 710 and out to my speakers?
Like an output directly from my PC into my receiver. So that I can play Spotify. Would that work?
SilverStone Fortress Series FT02B-W
Can I still use this case to build a brand new gaming PC? Going to be using a LGA 1511 chipset, i7 9700K, Noctua NH-D15S heatsink, eVGA 2070 S, Corsair SF750 PSU
You think I will have an issue fitting everything into this case? At the time, it was a premier...
About to build a new computer. Currently have an i5 2500K @ 4.4ghz and a GTX680 (stock) with some old school RipJaw RAM. Motherboard is an AsRock Extreme6.
Case, PSU, hard drives are all good. Silverstone FT02 (sideways mounted motherboard) case, 1000 Watt Platinum Certified, Samsung EVO 850...
