I got my bundle yesterday. I enabled memory context restore and power down was disabled and it was OK at first. Real fast boot. But after a few restarts while changing settings, my PC would freeze entirely. Even did it in BIOS. Reverted those back to defaults which is auto, which I assume means...
Thanks for the input. I guess it is a peace of mind thing. Maybe I won't make a big fuss about it and just hope I'm not one of the unlucky ones with the bundled kit. Don't usually give it much thought, just a long drive. But it's a pretty good deal and I like the motherboard features.
Waiting on a phone call from management at my "local" microcenter. Talked to customer service and they are trying to get the store to call me so I can ask about swapping the ram and paying the difference. Still deciding if I risk the ram compatibility and just get the 7800x3d like I want, or if...
I was planning on getting this bundle in a few days. Not great to hear so many issues, mostly with ram. Hoping they let me swap it out for something on the motherboards QVL list. Thanks Dreamerbydesign for pointing out their test fee. Maybe I pay them to test out the kit if I can't swap it. 2...
I just got my TG EX2 2TB they did on sale about a week ago. It dropped to 86.99, so just over 90 out the door at newegg. Performance wise, it's OK. Its sata, and it's dramless. You're looking at 500mb/s in short tasks. For a steam drive it is working great. Games load faster than HDD, helps open...
From my reading. They support the same features. Smart, trim, ECC, etc. They both are dramless budget drives with the same controller. The elite (ex2) just appears to be slightly faster. I can't seem to find anything else differentiating them.
Back up to 91.99, still not bad for an SSD for games

Or the AX2 at Amazon for 89.99. Very similar specs, practically same drive it appears.

Not really. The C2 is less of a value. If you have a membership, Costco has a very good B2 deal. Online only though. 999.99 plus their 3 year protection plan free of charge and a $100 costco card. If the B2 is like the C1, which people say it is, you absolutely can't go wrong at a price like that.
The biggest issue here is that they are selling. When they stop selling we stop dealing with massive price hikes. Unheard of going from 799.00 to 1199.00 msrp in 1 generation for an 80 series. That's crazy
Best Buy is sold out of their stock it seems. I wouldn't be surprised if they are shipping in small batches to keep supply low and demand high. It amazes me people are willing to pay this sort of msrp for GPUs but maybe that's just me.
Edit: Says it's Amazon prime members only, fyi.
PowerColor Red Devil 6950 XT $799.00, Amazon sales.
There's also a XFX Merc for 850.00 if you want a different brand.
Been an Nvidia fan for most of my time with computers, bought a 6900 XT recently out of spite for Nvidias 40 series marketing...
I finally caved, after hearing about the 4000 series pricing and marketing, i got petty and ordered a 6900 XT, with tax it was 740.00 or so, plus a $20.00 mail in rebate, but I'm not holding my breath for it. Went with the MSI Gaming X Trio. Was leaning towards an XFX Swft 319 but couldn't find...
I went with LHR, no real reason i guess. Thought was maybe its less likely to have been mined on. Not that mining hurts the GPU per say, but it definitely puts some wear and tear on those fan bearings
I just jumped on a B-stock 3070 ftw3 ultra, came out to like 454.00 with associate code. When they dropped i wanted a 3060 Ti but this is basically the same price or less. Rumor has it the 4060 will be comparable in performance so why wait for that? I'll just get a 4080 if i can and give the...

I have a few speakers I have used, most of them have seen moderate use. Never played very loud. All are clean, but they each have a defect, all of which can be easily fixed by someone who knows speakers. I'll describe each defect below.
