Hi Necrere, been absent quite abit,
Still a big fan of the 30L-ish design,I can see you are trying out more compact designs.
I had a few ideas to try on that design I like, such as a mesh front (should help reduce depth?) and mounting drives on the top lid, which if im not wrong, is sealed...
I'd say route through the back on this particular layout, all it has to be is thick enough for the 24pin (2mm extra?not sure haven't measured) all the other PSU cables are smaller.
Niceties would be rubberised routing holes and Velcro/Zip ties back there.Or at least rolled routing holes so they...
Ah okay,my thought process was, you're already meshing the bottom for a long PSU,might as well support a 120mm fan next to it.
Yes dust always finds it way in through the rear, but you do have a point about it being open elsewhere, sigh
Dusty dry country here, its a struggle.
What is the plan for...
I was thinking a bottom fan would maintain the clean look such that, you could have a 120mm rad at the bottom and another at the rear and finally the 280mm at the front (and the PSU I assume is in taking from bottom and exhausting on rear effectively a closed circuit not affecting the GPUs) This...
Hi necrere my opinions on the current design
1. No need for ATX Mobo support i don't find it necessary or adding any value
2. An mATX board will likely support 4 front USBs
3. I liked the I/O aligned with the side intake more.
4. Is front fans and front fans alone enough to cool 2 high end...
Hi necrere and wahaha
Am just now seeing this, and yaaay!
Am sure everyone wants something smaller than SG10 kek,but I personally don't.
Make something about 30L that holds a totally high end rig with good cooling.
Also 5slots FTW.
I'll read through the thread but just wanted to share...
I meant top left horizontally, above the power button
Sometimes you just want to put on headphones and game. If the headphones are wired, front ports are convenient.
Haven't been here in a while but i caught up.
1. Voted S1,made the most sense.
2. I like the Audio ports. Keep them around please
3. How about putting the logo in the top left corner? Just a suggestion
Unless my math is wrong that is a quarter liter size difference, which isn't too bad. How much in savings are we looking at using board instead of flex? Also, and more importantly, which of the two is more user friendly? It's gonna be tight in there,I don't want to make it even tougher.
So points so far,
ODD interferes with GPU length,so removing it wont make the case smaller,it'll only add support for triple fan R9290X's?
Blu-Ray playback off a PC is no fun? That said, the highest capacity drive possible is 1TB (unless you want a slow one) X2,for 2TB total, which isn't a...
I am liking the high odd and low I/O. I wonder though, does the "ssd above odd maybe" apply the other way aroound,ie,ssd below odd? At least they would share a bracket no? The render above isn't very hopeful though.
Not to sound silly or anything, but, if it wont replace my console, dvd player or tv box,why would I want it under my TV instead of under a monitor? Mind,I dont own a console,so this would probably be it,hence the odd is not an absolute must, but id rather kill two birds with one stone so to speak.
I love it :)
Again, folks are really taking the request for ODD abit too hard. It was not my intent to get folks all worked up about it,so like I said,I would LIKE one,but would still be okay if it does not make the cut. That said, all consoles have a ODD,why shouldn't this one?
Say I get an msata or m.2 ssd,and a bunch of 1tb hdd's how many of those can fit?Can double stacking M1 style work to double this number?
Is it possible to move I/o power to the logo side and logo to the I/o power side, effectively freeing up the gpu again?
I'm just asking coz noone else is :)
