If we round up and say the 1070 is 160W (source), and you get the E5-1650 v3 (~140W), that only puts you at 300W so the SF450 should be fine.

The thing you need to keep in mind with that board is that it's a narrow ILM 2011-3 socket, I'm not sure any of the coolers you mentioned will actually work on that. Have you checked the datasheets for compatibility? I'd check for you but I'm at work right now. was able to grab this picture...

Not with that CPU and the c7, no. At least not under load. When I had the c7 on my 3570k (stock, delidded/ relidded) it got way too loud for my tastes under gaming loads. If you don't already have the CPU is recommended getting a 6600t instead, it if you already bought it, underclocking and...

I did it about 2 years ago so I'm probably going to get it a bit wrong, but only leaving out things I ruined and has to rebuy; 60$ - panel 35$ - adapter board 30$ - stand 10$ - shell 10$ - bezel 5$ - cables 0$ glass (they didn't charge me for some reason)

GPU is essentially in a separate chamber from the CPU, so the CPu should be fine. He's just tired of people coming in and asking questions that can be answered by searching the thread since it happens a lot. I can't really say I blame him, I've gotten short with new posters doing the same...

I like C the best for temperature reasons, but B the best for looks.

There's not really a lot of room to duct, the fans should all be right up against the side panel as is. Maybe you could duct exhaust for the CPU, and use a blower GPU. The PSU is already ducted unless you have some super perforated model.

That's fair, I think because this is the internet "any" came across as more of a 'are there mitx mobos that fit this case' instead of what I think you meant which was more along the lines of 'are there any known compatibility issues with specific boards' That one should be fine

I'm planning to transplant my current rig, and if there's a 40W Zen part as good or better than my 3570K @4.2 I'll upgrade to that, if not I'm going to get a 6700T and an Asus H170 motherboard that supports standard DDR3.

If you're willing to only do push, or pull you could probably fit that setup into an Ncase.
