Between those two I'd go for the 65W part, though personally I'm going to have to try pretty hard to talk myself out of just going for a 6700T + Strix Z270I and instead wait for ryzen ITX and maybe lower TDP parts.
So on the subject of the power button, does that mean no more lighted vandal style switch? I'm not sure I understand how that surface mount switch would work in this case.
Also, now that G-Unique has posted more about their power brick input socket, I assume cases are going to be built with...
The thing you need to keep in mind with that board is that it's a narrow ILM 2011-3 socket, I'm not sure any of the coolers you mentioned will actually work on that.
Have you checked the datasheets for compatibility? I'd check for you but I'm at work right now.
was able to grab this picture...
so the logo of front could be completely removed if wanted?
would customizations increase the price?
I'm definitely interested in one of these for the (near) future!
Not with that CPU and the c7, no. At least not under load.
When I had the c7 on my 3570k (stock, delidded/ relidded) it got way too loud for my tastes under gaming loads. If you don't already have the CPU is recommended getting a 6600t instead, it if you already bought it, underclocking and...
I did it about 2 years ago so I'm probably going to get it a bit wrong, but only leaving out things I ruined and has to rebuy;
60$ - panel
35$ - adapter board
30$ - stand
10$ - shell
10$ - bezel
5$ - cables
0$ glass (they didn't charge me for some reason)
sorry for being slow
Going to use ifixit for most of these, but you may be able to find them cheaper elsewhere.
Panel
Bezel
Shell
Stand
Adapter
Glass was custom cut based on a replacement digitizer/ glass, and attached with 3m tape.
and here's the pictures I took when building mine
I'm going to repost it because I like it quite a lot-
Abusemark sells adapters for ipad 3 LCD panels, which are 2048x1536/ 60hz, and work really well.
here's mine from quakecon last year;
Just for my phone and PC, my actual pin is more obscure. :)
I'd love to but I've already got one on...
Do they?
That's good to hear, I've got a P8Z77I Deluxe I'll probably be getting rid of by summer, and any extra value is a great thing to hear!
Edit: Just looked and WOAH! Was not expecting those prices.
I agree that it's better to just ignore a post if you're just going to be a dick to the person.
It's a frustration thing, and noob is one of the more tame things someone could call you when annoyed
To be fair that's not what Jonas is asking, I think.
He's asking if an open/ non blower cooler...
GPU is essentially in a separate chamber from the CPU, so the CPu should be fine.
He's just tired of people coming in and asking questions that can be answered by searching the thread since it happens a lot.
I can't really say I blame him, I've gotten short with new posters doing the same...
Kind of disappointing numbers, but whatever.
Hopefully these new CPUs bring down the price on 6700T's, I've had my eye on one for a while but it's a little too expensive for me right now.
easy fix
He's tested blower vs open coolers here.
This isn't really a case for overclocking, but I guess if you were careful with the voltage and don't push too hard it can work.
Chassis fans aren't needed because the CPU/ GPU are pulling fresh air straight through the side panel since the gap...
There's not really a lot of room to duct, the fans should all be right up against the side panel as is.
Maybe you could duct exhaust for the CPU, and use a blower GPU. The PSU is already ducted unless you have some super perforated model.
That's fair, I think because this is the internet "any" came across as more of a 'are there mitx mobos that fit this case' instead of what I think you meant which was more along the lines of 'are there any known compatibility issues with specific boards'
That one should be fine
I'm planning to transplant my current rig, and if there's a 40W Zen part as good or better than my 3570K @4.2 I'll upgrade to that, if not I'm going to get a 6700T and an Asus H170 motherboard that supports standard DDR3.
True.
Thinking about it I think the biggest issue with it getting copied by anyone but companies at the level of lian li (Who do have their own M1 style case) is the riser.
That costs more than a lot of people want to spend on a whole case, and for good reason. But that won't stop people from...
