Curiously, no., The 34UM95 monitor is running off of a Thunderbolt 1 iMac (Late 2013 iMac). The iMac drives it at 3440x1400 60hz even though everywhere I look on the internet, Thunderbolt 1 is capped at 2560x1600 due to display port 1.1a. Very strange. Screenshot...

Can someone please test this monitor with an older Macbook over thunderbolt 1? It seems unclear whether any other mac besides the Mac Pro and the late 2013 MacBook Pro can drive this display (these new Macs run Thunderbolt 2). Thunderbolt 1 is limited to display port 1.1a output (2560x1600)...
