Guys, just updated the firmware to the latest one yesterday (1005.3) and installed the latest drivers today (551.86) and for some weird reason, any game I play in full-screen mode just shows up as black/blank screen! That was the culprit - I disconnected the PG32UQX, shut down the PC and then restarted it and it was still at 240hz! So having a 2nd monitor connected seems to mess with the settings somehow and makes it default to 120Hz upon reboot/restart. I definitely need the 2nd monitor so this is not ideal...

HDR is meh compared to the PG32UQX. Games that utilize it well (BF1, Cyberpunk 2077) look incredible on the Asus monitor. However, if I could have just one monitor, I'd obviously recommend the Alienware AW3225QF mainly due to OLED, 240Hz. The curve is okay (would've preferred flat tbh)...

You're right - the current firmware is the latest 1001.2 on the monitor. Yes, mine came with the plastic screen protector intact. I had to remove it once I installed the monitor and put it on my desk for some ASMR action (lol).
