I didn't wait, I waited long enough, just upgraded from a 5870.

That's the thing though. You say "First go to control panel and uninstall drivers" thats where this whole process sinks like a rock. During that uninstall process, I get nothing but blue screens. Can no longer boot into windows, it will just blue screen after blue screen.
