Live service games with full in-game mtx shops, season passes and addon content should be free, re: Fortnite. I'd say this also applies to Diablo 4 (the base game) and S&B. If a game is going to cost full price $70 it should not be monetized like this. End of story.

The game is 99% the same as release day. If you care about mods, the CK isn't even out yet. Ignore it for a couple years, get it cheap with all the DLC. Fallout London release next month and it's free.

Early adopters overhyped it. It's a good game, not a Diablo 4 killer by any stretch. Good skill system and item crafting, nothing else notable about it.

Played a bunch of different classes for a few hours each, including getting my necro to level 30-something. I've realized it's a boring class to play since all the skill modifiers have no effect on your playstyle, summoning a skeleton at level 1 is the same as summoning a max level skeleton...

I was on at 3 AM last night with server issues. It's the weekend now, don't even bother trying. There were already a lot of complaints about the servers even before 1.0 launched so this was definitely expected by both players and devs.

I was running 4k 60 with about 60-70% utilization (3090). Max settings. Haven't tested uncapped fps.

And what about data collection, integration, monitoring, driver updates, etc. GFE takes over your PC. I use nvcp to change my graphics and video settings. All that other shit is useless to me, being forced to install it and run it in the background will cause nothing but problems.

I was wondering when they would force us to use GFE and the day has arrived. All hail your bloatware overlords.
