Cool! Thanks a bunch, guys! I didn't think both DVI types could do more than 1920x1200. Good to know! I was checking around the AMD side, and noticed that the 7970 lightning versions came with single link DVI... That's really annoying.

I was looking into the GTX 6xx series, and noticed that one of the DVI connectors was a DVI-I. Can it output 2560x1600? If not, how would you have two monitors in that resolution? Thanks a bunch!

I'm considering trading out my surround setup for an HP zr30w, and was wondering how it stood up to the U2410 and U3011 in terms of visual quality. I've done some reading, and I really can't tell if either 30" monitor will have input lag during games or not... Are there any other details...

So, I've gotten some hits for the monitors, and one person wants to trade his HP zr30w for my three ultrasharps. Should I consider the hp? The monitor looks ok, and some people like it better than the Ultrasharp U3011. What do you guys think? Thanks a bunch in advance!

Yeah, I've done all that. There is a fantastic sticky in the OCZ forums on what all can be disabled on the MB and in Windows to optimize on performance. I usually turn it off because if it's on, I'm on it... Too much of a temptation...

Depending on what's put on the table, yeah. I'd be ok with a 3011 with no dead pixels for sure. Warranty on that would be a plus, since I'm offering the same.

The problem with your questions is that they are rather cut-and-dry. The qualitative assessment, in my opinion, requires more than a couple of questions. I'm obviously "dissatisfied" in some sense or else I wouldn't be asking for opinions on the internet... I need completely alien and isolated...

I have a stock (for now) 2600k on a Sabertooth board. Last I checked, they were supposed to be pretty decent. I will try your suggestion of making a new user to see if that alleviates the problem. Any other thoughts out there?

Well, that's a relief, I guess... I get so mad when people are like, "my computer starts up in under 20s from power." It takes at least 45s, if not more (I know, first world problems...) to get her up and going. I feel like something is wrong since I don't have very many programs that open...

I haven't ever had any luck fixing stuck pixels. To this day, I'm still unsure as to how you correctly differentiate between a stuck and a dead pixel... EDIT: Having them on a new monitor pisses me off, especially since they will not replace it if it isn't "as bad" or whatever stupid rule they...
