Title is misleading. He's not wrong in how games are being constructed and what the focus these publishers have. It's blatant. I do agree that it applies too all forms of gaming just just PC. Not sure if the market will ever change if the focus ultimately is $$$$ and not what us gamers want.

The noctua af12's are good. they have great cfm and are low noise. Search for fans with good reviews and pick the ones with the most cfm. CFM is what matters on these fans.

You have the first version of CM690 that has been out since 2006-07. I have the same case. Just add fans to your missing slots. If you can add 3, use 2 as intake and 1 as exhaust. I don't think I need the 8 cores. I was going to go with i7-9800X originally, but microcenter had a bundle deal for the 9900K w/ Aorus Master. So my buddy helped me overclock it. Kept the FSB to 334 and it's running at a little over 3.0. Everything is smooth. Ran Prime95 overnight and at 100% fan speed on my V6 GT. With Prime95 still running and fan speed at approximately 55%. My temps don't go above 56C. See for yourself. I'll run...

At 2100 rpm running at 40C, 38C, 32C, 34C for each core respectively with approximately 5% on each . I also need to place the whole tower in a bigger opening. Its a little tight.
