Yeah, I've done 4 remounts and the cooler in different orientations. Always the same 10°C difference. Mounting pressure seems good also. I'll try to change around the standoffs, just to rule out everything.

This is Cinebench R20 multicore load, but the 10°C difference is there always in multithreaded loads. If I run PBO "overclock" it's also over a 10°C difference. My problem is the high temps on CCD1. CCD2 seems pretty good. Also seems to only boost to 4,75ghz in single core loads on Cinebench...

Hi. I have underclocked a 3,3Ghz cpu to 2,8Ghz to reduce heat, powerconsumption +++. Esxi is still reporting the cpu as 3,3Ghz. Is there some way to change this in Esxi? The problem I'm seeing is that the virtual machine is getting 100% load, but esxi sees this as only about 80%...

Did some more testing with the latest drivers and 6450 card. Still no go.. :( The card won't start and drivers reporting fault. I also get some BSOD at Win7 startup...

Mainly BSOD problems installing/enabling the card... Though I have not tested with latest drivers... Maybe I should give it a go again.

No, still no update from Tyan... I've tried a little bit with the 6450, works great in OSX but I'm having problems in Win7. When they release the Bios update, I will for sure try some more (although I doubt the bios update will do anything different for the success of graphics VT-d in win7)...

I can report that VT-d works perfectly with OSX... Radeon 6450 card. Win7 is a different story.
