I can confirm that the QX2710 has a Vesa mount and that the stock stand is removable. However, removing the stock stand stem required removing the bezel, which is easily done. While the stock the stand does hold the monitor, I'm glad I immediately replaced it with a Monoprice stand.
Monitor was purchased on Amazon. It was the only one available with Prime at the time and is no longer available. BizBuyInternational was the seller and of course my order was fulfilled by Amazon.

Not really something to start a new thread about considering the ongoing discussions above.
To get my SSD to run AHCI on my old standby Dell 530s I had to set RAID in the BIOS. Only way that AHCI was available as an option. Works well. Only thing I notice out of the norm is that RAID report (or whatever it is actually called) during booting. Just shows 1 drive and moves on to loading...
It bolts into the stock holes. So it's really just a matter of removing stock cooler and bolting this in its place. In some cases I believe you can keep the stock VRAM heat spreader.
