Actually the bottom pic with the AS/400 is where I still work. And we still use AS/400. We're running a newer java based version, so it has some neat features. But yeah, we use...wait for it...RPG. Yep. Everything we build in house is built with RPG. I need a new job, lol. ENDDBG.
Indeed, after much experimenting, it's how I settled. On the left I have the web browser and ticket system, which works much better it landscape. On the right is outlook and a couple iseries windows setup to auto-refresh system info, such as what's running in batch and how much server cpu s...
Nice. New case arrived as well as my 390x. My next move is a 40 inch 4k monitor to replace my 27 inch BENQ. My new 2015/2016 rig is almost done. New headphones, mic, speakers, and the monitor, and I'm done. :) Motherboard is on RMA right now though. Sigh.
I have an RGB K65 with reds. I love it. No LED issues, or any other issues for that matter. My buddy picked up an RGB K70 (my recommendation to him) with browns and he loves it, again, no LED issues or any other issues. +1 cosair. Well played.
I work about 2 minutes from my home. I'm happy to keep work out of my house, when I come home, (around 330 every day) I'm work and stress free.
Here is my desk. I'm one of 7 people in the IT department. I run the HelpDesk.
I've gone to mechanical decks a few times now. Reds, browns, blacks, blues, even buckling springs. I'll admit, they are nice as hell to type on. But I just don't feel at home on a mechanical deck, KEEP coming back to my Logitech G105. I've had the G510, and the G19. I love they way they feel...
Yeah a college buddy of mine has one (it's how I learned about Feenix and why I got the Autore, their cherry mx brown keyboard. I've heard a lot of their older stuff kinda sucked, but my kb seems rock solid and is one of the best typing browns I have ever used.
The mouse was also very nice...
The DA was a great mouse, and I have pretty big hands. The feenix nascita is bigger than that too. Curretnly using a G700, a LITTLE smaller than I'd prefer but I love the mouse.
I had a G510, which I liked, but it was too large. Had a G19 for a while, again, just too large. Then I got a G105 - perfect.
Until I got cherry mx browns. lol.
When I first started getting into PC's and PC gaming I loved all the cool lights and LED's - it was different then all the apple stuff I grew up with. Less sterile.
That being said, as Ive gotten older and accustomed to the PC enthusiast world, I've grown away from all the blue and red lights...
