I'm seeing a ~50% improvement with my fleet. Mostly 1060's and a pair of 1070's. Really happy with the improvements!

Since this COVID thing hit, I've purchased several used 1060's and 1070's off of eBay for pretty reasonable prices.
There are also good deals on open air mining racks and PCIe risers if you want to go that route.
Otherwise, look for any cheap case with good ventilation, a good power supply, and...
My folding rig. 2 GTX 1060's, 2 P106-90's, and a GTX 980. Motherboard is an ASRock H81 Pro BTC, CPU is a i7-4765T, running Ubuntu 18.04.
Its worth about 1.5M points per day.
Chassis has room for 1 more, but If I add another card I'll need a second power supply.

I've had good luck with these, Coolermaster 120mm ultra quiet fans.
Now they are sleeve bearing fans, but they will be fine if you mount them in the vertical plane.
I am fed up with cheap inkjet printers that don't last, and I am willing to spend a little more to get better quality and reliability.

I don't think any of them are nearly as profitable as they once were. They all have ok days and bad days.

I just got my EVGA Ti's in yesterday, and because of all of the info I learned from this thread I am hashing at 290 per card!
Windows 8, +150 core, +500 memory, command line arguments -i 0 -l T5x24 -C 1, and Chrome running in...
Those are dummy plugs. They fool the card into thinking there is an old analog monitor attached, because some cards will not mine without a monitor connected.
