It's the most CPU demanding game ever made brother. Warzone 2 looks very similar too, at COD Next the machines running the game were I9s, likely with zero tuning, and only hit 140fps average. Just ordered a 13900kf.
The real question is will Raptor Lake allow for faster bus speeds on DDR 4?
If the answer to that is yes then I have little doubt Samsung Bdie at 4400 is going to give 7400+ DDR5 kits a hell of a challenge. Can you imagine if we can get 40ns memory latency out of the 13900kf? 1% lows in BR...
Interesting. I've got the warning that won't go away on M0B101 but it's not that big a deal. I'm going to wait a bit before requesting my warranty replacement. No sense in rushing, it's a 3 year warranty.

Background:
Former Counter Strike competitor that can't find joy in non-competitive games. If I'm not sweating, I'm not having fun. This gets harder every year because I just...
I played 6 hours straight on the AW3423DW with no fatigue whatsoever. Actually, I'd argue it's easier on my eyes than my 280hz IPS.

Gsync and BFI are both largely useless above 200 fps which is the minimum of what I expect for competitive fps. I will be comparing this monitor to a 280hz IPS display but the faster pixel transitions (oled) and higher resolution will hopefully make for an improved competitive display.
Thanks for sharing, confused by the above, do they test at 120 hz or native resolution at max refresh because 175hz will be significantly lower input lag than 120hz.
Tft measured the LG C2 at 4.3ms total, end to end, and the Alienware at 5.2ms. I think Tim (techspot) tested input lag with adaptive sync on for some reason.
Hey look, finally a quality input lag test and big surprise, it’s only 5ms. Techspot and every other review so far blew it. In this whole monitor review industry there are only two reputable sources, TFTcentral and Rtings. Tft has been on top for years and yet no one talks about them.
Some of us aim train and play competitive FPS like it's our career... even at the age of 40 I can't let it go.
I 100% agree with your comments about audio latency, my reaction time to audio queues is very slow compared to my visual reaction time.
The problem with Asio is that most games...
I've been begging (contacted directly) Tim from Techspot/HW unboxed and literally everyone else that has reviewed this monitor to include more detailed input lag testing. No Bueno.
I'm not asking for this display to cater to me, all I'm saying is that testing input lag with Adaptive sync instead of Gsync or neither makes zero sense on a $1400 monitor with a built-in hardware Gsync module.
The ttk in Warzone is 700ms, the ttk in Apex is a minute and a half. Battle Royale games still account for over 700 million gamers worldwide. Just because you don’t enjoy them doesn’t mean millions of don’t play them.
That varies from display to display but if your argument is that this monitor with a hardware gsync module and gsync enabled has comparable input lag to this monitor without any form of adaptive sync enabled we have ZERO data. He didn't test gsync because Tim used an AMD graphics card. He didn't...
But he never tested Gsync, only adaptive sync and we know for a fact that input lag consistently measures lower on Gsync displays. Personally, I won't be using either gsync, freesync or HDR because all I play is Warzone.
Another reviewer that didn't test properly! Where are the results with no gsync or adaptive sync? Where are the input lag tests with Gsync (Hardware) instead of Adaptive sync? These are big oversights IMHO. A LOT of us never use that nonsense because it increases input lag. Back to waiting for...
I feel your pain, I was a life long Battlefield player until Warzone ate my life. I have a 4.5 KD this season in Warzone (Mouse and Key), I want this monitor so bad! Delivery better be before June, the wait is killing me. Halo is a controller game... I can't stand it.
There is a dude on Reddit from Canada that ordered on March 3rd and his delivery date is June 4th just like mine. Dell hates Canadians.
TFTcentral may have got theirs today I think, a bunch of UK folks got theirs.
3000$ USD for the 65 inch is a legit value. In a year I may just replace my 55 inch C7 OLED with a 65" QD-OLED. I'd rather buy from anyone other than Samsung.
I can't say how frustrating it is that all these half-assed reviews keep coming out and yet Tftcentral, Rtings, Prad, or another credible source still don't have theirs up.
The tech testers review is the first half decent review but I don't trust their input lag measurements.
Examples:

I think it really depends on your use case.
Alienware QD-oled: I would argue this is the superior monitor for competitive FPS as long as you're not streaming. Ultrawide is a pain for streamers. The extra 55hz refresh rate is actually a huge benefit and since you'll be playing games with potato...
If you enjoyed Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War, those games will look absolutely stellar on this display (they look amazing on my woled) and 175fps should be quite attainable.
Same here, really pisses me off that I ordered on March 4th and mine isn't coming but all these Americans that ordered on the 6th got theirs. Canada always gets shafted in product launches.
