So you have a EVGA card that crashes at 82 and a PNY card that does not exhibit the temp issue? Interesting.
Any other EVGA FE owners want to chime in if their card will crash to desktop on stock fan profiles?
Anyone crashing with a temp limit of 82? At stock fan profiles, whenever I hit 82 degrees it throws a driver error. If I turn up the fan I can OC +210/500 no problems but it worries me that 82 degrees is my limit so I can never run the stock profile. EVGA FE edition for with +120 power and 92...
I mean that's fine. I only buy reference cards for the past 4 years. They overclocked alright and I turned up the fan speeds to max on the curve. Noisy but they fit and exhausted heat out the back.
I expect to hit 2 ghz when the fan is turned up and will be buying the new card. Except now I...
Unfortunate that they are charging a premium for essentially nothing, that only punishes SFF builders. Great marketing spin though, that they charge $100 on something that performs worse than an EVGA AIO cooler which is also in the $100 ballpark.
Also they mentioned keeping reference cards in...
I doubt AMD has an answer or else they would have already released benchmarks. Consumers don't have infinite money and they need to capture it before it goes to the competitor. Staying silent is just evidence they don't have a competitive product.
Ya it seems to be better if I max it out. Unfortunately I have to turn my settings down a bit now.
Mine came in from amazon with no issues thankfully. April build date.
Went from the Swift to this guy. While I really enjoy the colors, I have to say the difference in motion blur is pretty noticeable to me. Anyone else have that experience?
Been using this monitor over the ROG Swift, mainly because i'm lazy but also because input lag and response time doesn't feel that bad, even at 60 fps. Also seems better than the LG 34um95 in input lag and response time, which I returned. My subjective 2c.
On mine I don't think it does. Looked like DDM auto enables dynamic contrast. So then you will see the brightness auto adjust down on a black screen and subsequently have a perceived reduction in bleed...
Well it picked one up and it doesnt seem to be the vapor chamber or whatever. looks just like this 680 heatsink.
Not like the 780 vapor chamber, not sure what's in the 980.
I'm curious how different this is than the over clocked Korean monitors. My overclocked one was still blurry at 120hz in fast moving scenes, which I assume is due to IPS.
OK so I picked one of these up and it worked fine for the first day. I had it paired with another monitor, both over display port. Then i disabled the LG in windows resolution settings, and now I can't get it to detect in windows at all. The monitor can detect when i'm in bios and display the...
Got a zotac 980 from them and Silverstone SFX 600w psu. They are legit, paid with my CC direct on their site. I'm sure you could go through paypal and amex too.
It's too bad none of these are reference or i'd pick up another.
Well, got mine in today. Great screen for a TN. It's not that much different from my IPS monitors - QX2710, Dell 2412M. Viewing angels are nothing to complain about. The anti-glare is not too intrusive. It's much better than the VG248QE in all those metrics and I can see myself using it...
I mounted two SSDs up but the front cover wont fit with the supplied mounting brackets. I was thinking I'd just stack them together with electrical tape to fit. Anyone else make it fit without ghetto rigging it like i'm suggesting?
That's better than what I get in bf4. I can do +200/+100. Boosts to 1194 mhz. Any higher on the memory and it freezes. Runs benchmarks fine at higher memory though.
I haven't found a way yet to make it fit well with the tubes. They are pretty thick. I mounted it with the inlet/outlet vertical on the right side (Next to ram) and i'm having trouble squeezing the tubes into the case. I will try to remount it soon the other way on the left side - I think it...
Well, the total package weights like 5 lbs, so maybe they just flung it around by the packing strap. But then again, it's 5 lbs so you'd have to throw it pretty hard for it to puncture a hole in the box. I was surprised by how light and thin the case is.
Its a shame ncase didn't want to...
Why does everyone think the profits aren't already baked into the $4 price. The news that AMD was chosen for both the PS4 and XBone is 6 months old.
Any unexpected revenue would come from the R9 series. But the graphics division is only 1/3 of the company, the remaining 2/3rds is still...
IL here, early ship list 1?
Mine was accepted and processed on Oct 30/31, no other updates since then. How many days did it take for the people that go theirs?
