quick question...
Looking at the HDCP section of the NVIDIA control panel, it states that my monitor has a repeater attached and that some video applications do not support HDCP when a repeater is present.
Could that have an adverse affect for me or cause the sleep/boot issue I have once in a...
Hello all,
I have been using one of these monitors for about 1 week now and aside from the coming out of sleep mode/boot issue that I have had a couple times I have to say I love this monitor.
I am not using it at 4K for my desktop though. I found 1440p to be a good res for my eyes, distance...
I recently put an evga 970 acs in my system. I'm running gpu @ 1500 MHz and mem @ 1800 mhz. Is that a pretty good over clock for these cards ? Are the 970 owners getting around that, I can push mine some more, but it's a nice round number that is rock stable for me.
I'm now running a 4k 24"...
I ordered a ratpad on Nov. 20 and still have received it. I sent an email to both Linda and the USPS, but havent heard back from either. Is there any other avenue I can take to get an idea of when I would get the mouse pad?
Thanks,
Mike
I ordered a replacement for my original, but it never arrived. I sent a message along a few days ago, but havent heard anything about it.
Is there a number that I can call?
Here is a link to the refurb at 175. great deal for a great case.

I just bought a 1KW version of this PS and it is great. I really like the flat cables, it makes routing awesome and very neat. I dont know if 850 is more than you are looking for, but I think a good modular is going to have a bit more power in general...
can this monitor run 1440P or 4K off a 1.4 HDMI cable? I have a 27" 2560X1440 monitor on dual 670's and it couldnt run native on anything but a diplay port or the full DVI.
Thanks for all the PM's. I ended up just buying a 1KW coolermaster PS. I bought this one because it had some good reviews and all but the MB connector are the flat type wiring. It makes cable routing easier.
Just as a side note, if you are an active member of this site is there really a...
Take a look at this wiki. I have chased ground loop issues similar to this one and it can be tough. You might get some good ideas here.

I am loooking for a power supply.
Modular, more than 1KW, major brand.
I would like to hear from anyone that has one they want to part with.
Ill pay through pay pal.
I think you will be happy with these cards. I bought two of them a few months ago to upgrade my 6950s and they have been awesome. Also, I received my two 40 dollar rebates in one card, which was nice. I had to call the company to get them on their way, but they came.
I am thinking about getting...
The secure erase feature is one that is really selling me. Erasing SSD has gotten easier, but still is a pain to do it correctly . Having that feature in the BIOS is a really great thing. Kudos to whomever thought of that.
Thanks
Mike
for amd and nvidia the field is a little different when thinking about margins. Nvidia cannot really benefit from a mature process when fab'ing chips like AMD can. AMD has their own fabs, many of them and AMD has to turn to a TSMC, IBM or equiv. to process their chips for them.
So when the mask...
I have this one:
http://www.microcenter.com/product/384780/EQ276W_27-Inch_IPS_LED_Monitor,_WQHD_2560x1440,_HDMI,_DVI-D,_DisplayPort,_USB
Got it on sale for about 400, it is great and has the display port.
no dead pixels either
I like this mod, looking at that top ziptie you have I thought maybe this would help there, they are pretty good at routing I/O tubing.

This might be a good idea... Thanks, I have a two port. I just cant remember if it has audio outputs. I will have to go check, this would work pretty well if so.
Thanks
Mike
Funny, I didnt realize that. Thanks for the tip, my last monitor had a head phone jack and I just figured this one was the same.
For the PS3 is there a way to use HDMI and not split the audio?
On my main system I have an Auria monitor that I use at its native resolution. I also want to connect an HDMI from my PS3 to play on that. It works great for video at 1080P, but I cannot figure out how to get it to output the audio from the HDMI to the head phone or audio jack instead of the...
I have been using two of these for a week now and they are great. Their support is awesome (i had a question, no issues though) and the cards have been giving me double the frames I had using two 6950 in Crysis 3, even with me turning the settings way up.
I just bought a couple of GTX 670's to use in SLI mode.
They are the dual fan mode and I noticed that the top board is getting hotter than the lower
I want to try putting a piece of lexan or something in between and a fan or blower of some sort to see if I can get the heat from the lower one...
Performance PC says that they weigh about 2 to 2.5 Lbs.

I ran this game for a few days and kept getting hard freezes w/ video blackout.
The last reboot my mobo saw, it gave me an LED indication that the video had a problem.
Just before I had seen my 12V go to 11.7, 3.3 go to ~2.82 and the 5V go to 4.7-4.8
It wouldnt boot after that, Asus P8P67...

Looks like there is a website for this now. It looks like they might be putting it out next month if what is on the site is correct. Or this month if the you tube is to be believed.
I think it looks pretty good. The site says that it...
can you tell me where you got the mesh you are using?
It looks great and I have a couple ideas for something I am working on with my Cosmos ii

the line you have going from the rad to the res, it looks like maybe split loom or something over it, can you tell me if it is split loom?
I think it looks nice, I was just wondering if it was some corregated tubing or something like that.
Thanks,
Mike

Here is a quick photo of my set up. I it on the right side of my case with one fan above the top and one below, it gives me a bit more room in my case.
I really like the included software. It is the only...
I know I have already posted my grief over this, but when I saw the great packaging job, I had to..There was a Cooler master Cosmos ii case in the package, it went out for delivery then disappeared or was damaged or something. I have just been so mad about this all day.
