The new update just seems really counter productive and redundant. " Lets reduce the amount of affixes on items but introduce greater affixes and more ways to modify" They said they were going to simplify, yet they introduce so much more bloat. It's overly complicated and not in a good...
Yep... and it did make everything much better for D3. However, I still think the itemization on D2 is what we should be going for. I despise targeted loot for you character. Most of the fun of D2 was finding a Unique item that was actually unique.. it would make you go make another...
Itemization is going through a decent size change. Is it meaningful? I don't think so. Hopefully they get it right further down the road but until then I'll stick with D2.
The game is getting a lot of negative reviews...and even I was on the fence about it and worried about how well it runs.
I gave it a shot and don't regret spending money on it. Is is un-optimized? Sure. It has microtransactions but they are only for impatient people (and I mean really...
I'm curious about performance as well. Just going by the steam page requirements it doesn't look very promising considering they are saying 30FPS for PC as well.
Right on.. I feel ya with the overture filament. I have a spool of translucent red PETG that has never worked right. But then I don't have a filament dryer. I was looking at getting one but the X1C has a filament drying mode and going to try that first.
As far as temp I do like you and...
What temps are you using? I have only used Creality PLA and eSun PLA+ since I got mine and it seems to really like 220/35 temps for both. The only failures I have had were due to not cleaning the plate properly after 3-4 prints.
This... the game is fun especially with a group in dungeons/end of act areas, but the daily timers make you have to go back everyday for optimal drops.
Coming from someone with prob 15,000 hrs + in diablo 2.....just let me grind away if I want and don't make it be a daily chore.
Do I have to start a new character after this patch? Also, what is the best way to get a character up to par to start farming good gear. I have over 600 hrs in this game but have only played it casually and not end game like D2.
Started playing d4 again when season 2 started.... it's much more fun than launch but the itemization is still what is lacking. Targeted/char lol loot is trash. The fun of D2 was it wad just a slot machine of gear. You would find something not for your character, that would make you roll...
I watched my brother play it tonight for an hour or so on the 5th boss area. It didn't seem near as tough as sekiro. I have heard otherwise though. Still on the fence about it. Worst case scenario, I try it off his shared steam library in a month. :)
Did they add an option for Hold to Sprint instead of Toggle? That is bugging me right now on the first game. Glad they have it where you don't lose stamina now if you are out of combat.
Thats not heat shrink its just twisted wires together with some electrical tape on it. I cut off the 4 pin connector of the fan and found an extra power supply to just splice em together for a bit.
WW barb. Supposedly one of the best and what I normally do on D2. Its still just not fun.... might as well be a mobile game. Items/loot are the big thing for me and not just 0.001% extra here and there. It's nice to find gear that makes you want to level up more or roll a new char...
Just finished the campaign and have no desire to progress any further. Been doing the same thing since lvl 5 and there is no sense of progression via finding a game changing item. These targeted level drops and shit based on char level suck. Going back to Grim Dawn and D2R with the...
Having already played both betas I am still not a fan.... Its just too D3/Immortal to me. The itemization/skills sucks and feels like its on rails. Whatever happened to searching 30 minutes for the maggot lair? I'll stick with D2R and the randomizer mod.
Only thing I dont like about the game is 20 minutes of traversal and 2 minutes of fighting....repeat process.... Otherwise it runs great on my 5950x and 6900xt both at stock.
I did have 2 crashes today for the first time but only when I had HDR enabled on my main 48" C1 OLED.
Jesus... can you just enjoy games without bitching about RT implementation? It's not the end all be all of anything right now. I bet you prob still have a dedicated physx card....
Margit beat my ass so many times. Really tough for early melee on that area. Half the stuff after that seemed easy. Still only 60% or so through the game on my own though but havent played it in forever.
Also there is a full co-op mod you can get which is super fun but nowhere near...
Still no crashes here. RT is a no go @ 4K on Ultra settings. Only 30FPS. I kinda prefer it on all Ultra+ 4K HDR anyway. That is min 70 max 90 FPS. Stock 5950X/6900XT
Edit : Still not utilizing more than 20 % CPU, 6-7GB VRAM, 13GB RAM
Updated AMD drivers to the 22.11.2 and I get a solid 85 FPS on full Ultra settings without RT. RT doesn't add that much IMO. 5950X/6900XT here just for reference. I still think it can be optimized more since it Radeon software says I am utilizing 6-8 GB out of 16GB
