Switching all progs to force "Alternate Frame Rendering 1" evened out my temps at 70C and 83C on FurMark. Thank God. But then i'm seeing weird dips over and over into 64C and 79C I don't even know the difference between rendering 1 and 2 but dips show something weird right?

With regards to spreading the cards (i use a cut mechanical pencil eraser stick wedged somewhere in the middle now ; cut it downt to ~89C) how much pressure can the slots hold anyway? I mean this has to be a permanent thing right?

LMAO... Cramming a wad of paper in between the cards has allowed me to keep the upper card steady at 93C and lower card at 73C after the 10minute mark... Imagine that. I don't think i smell burning anymore but those temps, while stable, are scorching though...

I'll try that paper wad solution... gives me a cheap feeling inside doing it though. GTX460 was made to run at 100C? Sure about that? Because once my card reaches 93C i start to smell burning.... And I'd be satisfied with a 10 degree difference. But running FurMark gives me a temp difference...
