Well, sixfootduo as of 10-06-11 (the date of above msg) you have yet to respond to me once...
I have sent you several messages, while I admit I didn't give you my paypal address on the 2 attempts you asked for it. I was very skeptical, you said your account was hacked, and who am I to know that...
don't want to pay me back or give me the card that I PAID for, that's fine. I will just let other people know what kind of online seller you are. It has been since 02/20/11 and now you will not respond, even telling me an update... with no attempt to pay.
Great seller you are.
I don't like this at all, especially since the ISP's seem to be moving towards data caps. Also there are plenty of games that are only worth playing once if at all, beat it and sell it. I don't want a 10 year old collection of games that I will never play again. Games are getting bigger...
yup, locked @ 100mhz.
I took the card over to a friends and loaded it into his comp no issues, im gonna blame it on the mobo, I just think it's going bad...
Doesn't seem stable like it was when I first bought it, and everything has now been downclocked, ram cpu, n/b, seems stable now, but I...
trying to install the 9.11, I wanna say it is the mobo for some reason, I think it maybe dieing.
i tried to stress my cpu and it wasn't stable at stock anymore, I think either the mobo's power management is trash, and it can't support the card?
yup, both power connectors are in. it's a pretty...
I have never had an issue like this before, but when I go to install the drivers for my 4890 the computer restarts... It is a 650w psu So I don't think that is the issue, the motherboard is a foxconn A76ML-K motherboard, I don't think that would be the issue though. I am leaning towards the psu...
Really... comparing an FPS to football?
wth is that? I mean I can kinda see why, but back when madden was created there was no option of going online and updating a roster for the sega genesis or SNES,that is where that franchise started, never 1 time did EA ever say they were going to continue...
you could just have a bad core, I have seen a couple of ppl saying that their cores maxed around 850-900mhz, even with voltage bumps,
ccc only allows for core/mem clocking, you still need afterburner.
I used the msi bios, they are all pretty much the same at this point, mine goes down to...
the only cards that have the bios capable of these clocks are the asus or msi.
so if you have any other manufacturer then you max at 825mhz in ccc, so if you flash to these bios's then you get to up to w/e your card can take.
well this is what I have done 950core 1125 mem vs stock
l4d maxed out 1920 x 1200 8xaa 16xaf. I ran furmark @ 1280 x 1024 no aa windowed
I am pretty sure you can tell which is which w/o me labeling them.
and furmark is the only other thing I really have that would give a consistent reading.
worked great for me!
here is a pic I only had to up the core to 1.125 to get 900 core, just got this done, and tested it furmark stable, using msi afterburner to adjust volts.
look up the lucid hydra chip, this chip will be coming shortly to the consumer market and allow both, and they have future concepts of being able to run a ati card with an nvidia card (and not like you do for physx)
this chip has some promising looking tech.
realistically though, how long after the release of the 4870 did the 4890 come and the gtx275?
but in the time of the launch cards i.e. 4870 vs gtx280 there was a substantial difference..
I couldn't fully max fallout3 with a 4870 512mb with out pretty big frame dips down into the high 20's low...
well I don't see how your psu would have died if it has been unplugged, I mean no surging could occur.
but that is what it sounds like, and is it a pc power and cooling, I have not herard of pcp (aside from the drug ;) )
yes, antifreeze and iodine do the same thing, it kills algae and is a biocide.
he said he was going for performance thus, I would think he is going to overclock. I highly doubt that BIP 2 can effectively dissipate that much heat.
I never once mentioned the mcr320, and basically the same and...
seeings how it is locked in the bios (your voltage is probably set/locked via bios), your board is probably set to run it at cl5, so throwing in the better ram wont help.
but for amd timings are king, not mhz.
so I would suggest you pick it up at a time when it is on sale, but really it doesn't...
pt nuke is a waist of money....
use 10% antifreeze with distilled water, and about 3 drops of iodine.
the cpx pro pump is a decent pump, but once again that rad is too small for gpu/cpu cooling, unless you are cooling lower end gpu/cpu.
honestly save the money and get the accelero

more than enough with a 4850, you can passively cool a 4850 on that, provided you have adequate case airflow.
