HI guys, so I have a 5900X and Asus VIII Crosshair Dark Hero board.
I was looking at the PBO in the Bios. I just realized that there are 2 PBOs in the Bios, one is under Extreme Overclocking and one is under Advanced.
So which one am I supposed to use if I want to use PBO to overclock?
I don't know why you only get 422 with your C9 input set to Game Console. I am running input set to Game console on my E9 and I get 444 12bit Full RGB 4k 120hz. And yes , I did the 444 / 422 test image above.
So I got the 1m (3ft) 48gbs hdmi cable from Club 3D to test with the Adapter. And it works perfectly, the only issue I still have is when I restart my PC, I lost the BT2020 gamut colors, and also I can't use the PC icon for the HDMI because it makes the screen flickers, even though I can still...
Yea that's what I did. I downloaded the picture and open it full screen without scaling or resizing. I see 444 very clear and the 422 is barely. So what does that mean? Does that mean I am running 444 and it's working ?
Ok so I see 444 at the bottom, doeso that mean right now I have 4k 120hz Full RGB 12bit 444 BT.2020? Cause that's what im running right now with the adapter on my E9.
The 444 at the bottom is very clear, like normal. But the 422 at the top is barely visible. What does that mean?
In the HDMI diagnostic screen after using 11111, I got 4k 120hz BT.2020 Full RGB 12bit. And it doesn't fall back to SDR or lose signal, as long as I don't restart my PC. If I restarted my PC , the HDR colors will be washed out again.
Ok I got the HDMI Diagnostics, it said :
3840x2160p @ 120Hz RGB 12Bit BT2020_RGBORYCBCR
HDMI Mode: HDMI, HDR Type: HDR10
HOw do I know whether it's YCbCr 422 or not? I didn't see 422 anywhere
Also, when I restart my PC, I lost the BT.2020 and the colors are washed out again.
When the new Nvidia 3000 series cards come out with HDMI 2.1, i think they will be Sold Out really fast due to everyone wants them because we all have been waiting for 4K 120hz HDR forever...
Well the 1m cable is only $20, so might as well just test it u know. How come my E9 doesn't show the YCbCr infos when i check the HDMI infos? Even when I switched to the PC icon for HDMI, it doesn't show the YCbCr infos. Only shows 4k HDR BT.2020 PCM
Ok I just place an order for the Club 3D 48gbs HDMI 1m cable, should be here on Friday. The last thing that I want to try is an Optical HDMI cable, but most of the optical HDMI cable that they sell are pretty long. Anyone knows the shortest Optical HDMI cable out there that I can order?
Ok nvm I check the HDMI info, I'm using Game Console for the HDMI input icon, not PC. It says I have HDR BT.2020 at 4k resolution and PCM (no idea what it means by PCM) and that's it, it doesn't tell me if it's 12bit or YCbCr infos
I can't use the PC incon for any of the HDMI inputs cause it...
Ok I did the switch to 4K 60hz 8bit RGB, then go back to 4K 120hz RGB 12bit, and it kept the BT.2020 for HDR. So now I'm running at 4k 120hz RGB 12bit FULL Dynamic range with HDR on and no washed out color. Just not sure how long this will last until the Adapter reset itseslf
Yea I think Club 3D just rushed out this product because they know if they didn't, they won't be able to sell them since the new 3000 series with HDMI 2.1 are coming out soon.
Yes, right now I'm running RGB (not 4:4:4, prob the same), Full Dyanmic range, 12bit, 120hz in Nvidia Control panel with the Club 3D HDMI cable and the adapter of course.
Ok so I got the Club 3D HDMI cable today, and the Black screen / no signal issues are gone using with the CAC-1085 adapter. So if you guys use a different HDMI cable not from Club 3D, then u' will have the No signal issues if u change any resolution.
But I still get the Washed out color when...
