Was at Microcenter buying something for work, and right next to it were the 3D printers. Was looking at the X1C and the sales associate said they just got a batch of those and the P1S, they didn't even have a unit on display. Talked to him for a bit and ended up impulse buying the P1S. Will set...
I don't think PiHole is very demanding. I have it running on a Pi 1. Hardware hasn't given out yet. A Pi 5 just to run PiHole seems like overkill, but would probably set you up for a good long run with it.
Anyone got a spare code for sale? I have a 4090 to activate with.
Son has been watching me play and while the campaign is a bit too dark for him, I think the endgame would be fine, so gonna try to rush him thru it and have some quality Dad/Son seasonal play.
Really? I thought that was one of it's stronger points. I could play with friends at different levels and we each get an experience that's appropriate for our various levels. Loot system has always been grindy, but again if you're a diablo vet it isn't a surprise. I rate the game 8/10. Will be...
I cancelled my MK4 kit order just now. Waited 10 weeks. I wasn't in the 1st batch, 2nd, or even 3rd. I have my receipt that I ordered within 20 minutes of getting the "available now" email, but I guess there were people who ordered hours earlier.
I see the Bambu P1P is now $599 and shipping for...
They had them 2 days ago, In stock for half a day. It's hit or miss. When I was shopping for mine I join a discord group with alerts.
Edit, looking at the Discord channel they had them in stock for a while yesterday as well.
I figured an extra Nextruder V6 adapter would be a good buy as I could put a .6 nozzle on it. When I went to go modify my order it then won't accept the $50 shipping rate they have on the printer itself and instead bumps up the shipping about another $50-60. Making the Nextruder adapter cost...
Well if you plan to play with friends you would miss out on leveling and being able to contribute in a group. Not sure what you mean about D3. Three friends and I started at midnight at the D3 launch and played for about 20 hours straight. Was a fun time and a great memory.
Will they screw it...
There is a forum member who typically gives a discount on Battle.net titles, something like 20% but not exactly sure?. I recently bought a copy from him. Sometimes he has credit, other times he doesn't.
I don't remember the game being so short but when your on your 12th play-thru or whatever I guess it doesn't take as long as it once did. Would love a Portal 2 RTX.
Well those where just defaults, the Ender 3's defaults aren't all that great, I remember them to be averaging 60mm/s when I looked into an Ender. If you've got it running at 130mm/s and the quality is good, then good work tunning and knowing your printer. Plenty of people run their Prusa's at...
The 0.2's build plate is much smaller, but prints much faster. The build volume on the 0.2 is 120mm^3 while the Prusa has a 250 x 210 x 210 mm. I only own the Prusa, but it's a slow, quality, dependable printer. Slow only in regard to some of the newer printers such as the Voron.
If I had to...
It's much smaller and a good starting spot for a potential novice builder. Check their website if your curious https://vorondesign.com/ they also have an excellent discord channel.
I see they have a 0.2 now. Not gonna lie, getting the itch again! Seems like the kits are pricier than I remember...
If I was gonna build one, I would definitely start with a 0.1. I think at the time there was a Voron craze starting and I wanted to buy a kit with everything I would need. I looked into a LDO kit and decided to go with it but for the next month I could never find it in stock.
Out of curiosity...
I get the upgrade itch some times, recently for a bambu (CoreXY) and now slightly for a Mk4. But at the end of the day I don't know that I print enough to justify the $$$. I'll stick with my Mk3+ for a while longer.
Vorons, while cool, seem really intimidating to build and a full Voron 2.4 is...
I grew up with Blockbuster, $20 a month to have a single game out at a time, or $5 for a week and $1 a day there after, again for a single game. To a teenager that was a good chuck of money.
"...isn't a good deal" is pretty subjective to whether you like to play games as soon as their released...
I did the foreign xbox pass/VPN thing and loaded up 3 years. I find myself dabbling in the games all the time. Bought it initially for Halo and Forza H5, then played Plagues tale. Lately dabble in Atomic Heart, Hi-Fi rush and Wo Long. Considering most streaming services are about the same price...
Probably, but I already own the regular CableMods cable, it was less than $40. I would pay maybe $20, and that would be a bigger market but maybe not as profitable. I'm not paying $40.
I wonder if the vertical PCB would also hold weight better by potentially mounting into a PCIe slot that it would otherwise cover up?
Kinda surprised we haven't seen vertical PCBs before now that I think about it. Must be more issues with it, but there are no shortage of people who are...
I feel like that video came out about the same time as the Lawrence Livermore stuff and they're trying to catch some of that attention. "Not a big deal, we've been doing it now for a long time...."
Initially mine had some weeks out, but it shipped out maybe 5 days later. Hope your experiance will be similar.
Ohh but I opted for cheap shipping and that took forever.
Will it? You hear of iPhones bursting into flames all the time, we blame it on the users and move on. I googled to find how many house fires are blamed on PCs and not much. I feel like it would melt, smoke, but not much fire.
But yeah hope no one would die or any real fires from a gaming PC...
I'm using a CableMods cable and a FE card. That little plastic bend indicator thing is pressing on the top of the cards heatsink. It made me a bit nervous and I almost removed it before finally leaving it on. I did manage a very good click out of it and tugged on the cable to ensue there was no...
Don't (or recently didn't we) have that here in the US also? We called them tarrifs they call them VAT. Pretty much the same in my eyes, one is at the bottom as a tax, the other is just a higher cost...
