Just got mine today also - so far very happy with the monitor. The built-in KVM works fantastic - I have my M1 Mac Pro connected via TB4 and Windows machine with RTX 4090 connected via HDMI.
On the Mac M1 Pro, you cannot get over >60Hz by default - even via TB4 connection - but I managed to...
It’s showing up as 1919 on the US site currently - looks like they dropped the price?
I ordered one - used a 5% coupon I had on top, plus 5% through Chase and a $120 Amex offer (Dell lets you use multiple cards). Should come to around 1780
Forgot to mention also used Rakuten cash back...
Selling a Steam Deck OLED model w/ 512GB storage. Mint condition, basically only used for less than 5 hours. It's a neat device but I'm just not using it as much as I expected, rather sell it to another member here than have it sit around.
Asking $SOLD to CONUS, includes all original packaging...
I have to say even with the text issues I still prefer working on an OLED. Those blacks just make day to day use a lot more enjoyable. I don't know about longevity, that is a valid concern although so far none of my OLED displays have gotten burn in. Oldest is an LG C6 that I bought in 2016.
If...
Crysis is basically the spiritual successor to the first Far Cry.
I did enjoy FC1, it was one of the best looking games around at the time, pushed my 9800 Pro to its limits. Didn't like the direction Ubisoft took the franchise - FC2 and onward are very different games. FC1 and Crysis, are IMO...
Selling a Nvidia RTX 3080 FE. Asking $SOLD in CONUS. Comes with original packaging and included adapter.
Originally purchased Oct 2020 from Best Buy and only used for gaming. Upgraded to a 4090 recently which is why I'm selling.

I've had no luck getting one since launch day. Weirdly had an easier time getting the 3080, the drops seemed more frequent? At least at launch, I know it got a lot harder to get during the crypto boom.
But looking on...
Just fyi - in my experience Amazon isn't reliable for GPU launches, during the 3080 launch I had orders for several cards that were later cancelled. Given the listing went up early as well I would be suspect of it actually shipping (same thing happened with the 3080s).
So if you really want the...
Got the monitor today and I'm very happy with it! Image quality is great and for an IPS the blacklight bleed is fairly minimal. The 75Hz seems a no-go though, despite being advertised. I'm seeing frameskipping at that refresh rate on both Windows and macOS. I will play around with the OSD...
I have been interested in these for work but held off as price is too high for what you get imo.
That said, I have a Lenovo ThinkVision P40w-20 on the way. Found a good deal on it open box and said to be in excellent condition (was $1k). Essentially the same monitor minus FreeSync...
Seems mostly due to the addition of ray tracing in a lot of titles. If you turn that off, frame rates tend to go up dramatically. Maybe others will disagree but I honestly don't feel it's worth the perf hit in a lot of cases. That wasn't the case with games long ago, going from medium to high...
Do you have Sharpness at the default setting (10) on the LG? Since that actually overshapens the image, the neutral setting is 0.
AW does not look soft to me personally but just mentioning that since it may be the reason the LG looks sharper.
Another thing is that on monitors they tend to use matte anti-glare coatings while TVs usually are more glossy. More effective in blocking out reflections but this does affect the image quality a lot actually. Not that many monitors are glossy, the only recent one I can think of is the Alienware...
It's not very noticeable to me. If you have a lot of light coming in the room it will be problematic for either display given how reflective these panels are. The AW seems to manage reflections a bit better than my C1 OLED as well.
Not completely no. A few people on AVS have gotten the EOTF curve close to what it should be but it's still not fully accurate. With the lack of 20 point adjustment I doubt it's possible.
The TV has some weird bugs that reset settings as well, one of the users trying to calibrate reported they...
I tried the S95B but wasn't impressed compared to this monitor. Whatever Samsung is doing with the colors and brightness, ruins it. At times the S95B looked great, but when I compared scenes with the AW it was super oversaturated especially in the reds. And yeah, I tried adjusting settings to...
Yeah that's correct. There were some rumors Samsung Electronics didn't even want to release the OLED this year as they planned to position the QN95B as their flagship for this year. But Samsung Display had no one else to sell panels to other than Sony and Dell. Apparently yields recently...
Vincent already reviewed the monitor. Don’t recall any fuss being made about the color accuracy or EOTF tracking. He recommended it as the best gaming monitor too.
So just seems to be specific to the S95B. I know Samsung is all about shock and awe, but weird they didn’t bother to include a mode...
I don't see as much need for it now that OLED has been around for awhile and is relatively affordable. QD-OLED fixes a lot of shortcomings from LG's WOLED and doesn't have a crazy starting price either, so I expect it may get pretty affordable next year.
Awhile back, before OLED existed at...
Input lag is in line with other displays of this class. A lot of the 34" ultrawides people are coming from have same or worse input lag than this. It has lower lag than the LG 34GN850 I see a lot of people use. It's not the best for sure, but not bad either.
If you do play competitively won't...
Ya don't see it ever happening. Especially now, with OLED options starting to become plentiful and reasonably priced. This CRT would be better in some respects (higher res, no sample and hold blur), but wouldn't amount to 5x the cost better to me over the AW OLED that's out now. Motion clarity...
I know what integer scaling is. Pixelated edges in these types of games still look sharp and clean to my eyes. Have you actually used the display, or are you just speculating how it might look?
Yes... you can see some slight color fringing very close up as shown in the second pic. But in normal...
Although I have no problems with the text, if I did, I'd still use this for gaming and just get a 27" 4K for work usage next to it.
This monitor has pretty much made almost every other LCD based display irrelevant to me. The only reason I'd still get an LCD is for niche sizes that are unlikely...
I don't have a problem with the text and I sit here coding 5-6 hours a day for work.
Compared to other 1440p, there's not much of a difference I feel. On LG IPS I can see slight color fringing on text too. The only situation where text is pretty much artifact free is a high pixel density...
Selling an LG 38GL950G. The monitor is in great condition and was purchased February 2020. I've had no issues with it, will ship securely in the original packaging. Includes the monitor stand and power cable.
Asking SOLD
I will ship within CONUS only via UPS. Signature confirmation will be...
Just got mine hooked up - super impressed! Coming from a 38" LG 38GL950G. I've also had an OLED TV since 2017, feels amazing to now have the same kind of PQ in a monitor.
The colors seem pretty good to my eyes. I can't speak to accuracy as I don't have a colorimeter but it's in the same...
