I ended up having to RMA an 8GB kit midway through April after Memtest found errors on one stick. Fast-forward to now, almost three months later, and I still haven't got my replacement... is this typical for this company?
The defective ram got to them ok, but I had to email them to discover...
I've never bought anything off Steam.
I own the HL2 Collector's Edition and the Orange Box, so I'm aware of the benefits, but I like the idea of having the game installed "right now", and not having to rely on my crappy DSL to preload. Or it could be I'm just sentimental and like looking at...
I've got a 500gb WD drive I was thinking of splitting into partitions for my new build: (1) OS, (2) Programs/Games, (3) a spare in case I decided to dual boot, and (4) one for all those uh, Linux distros I downloaded :D
Should I bother separating the OS and programs? Or does Vista still...
