I swear I read an article recently about 5870s in CrossFire testing whether 1156 was a bottleneck versus 1366.
I can't seem to find the article though, did I imagine it? Anyone have that link?

Unlucky for me, when I got my system hooked up, something isn't right. I pulled my P35-D3SR board last night, put in the P55-GD65 with only Core i7 860, RAM, and video card, but it won't post (no video at all).

err.. So my P55-GD65 (for Core i7 860) showed up today and I was putting it together right now. When I went to connect the 4-pin ATX connector from my HX520... I realized the P55-GD65 has an 8-pin socket. What?
I went to Corsair's site and the newer models seem to have 8-pin ATX...

I just ordered an 8800 GTS 320 meg, the eVGA Superclocked model. I've been using a Thermaltake 420W with my computer. I just bought an E6750 with Gigabyte P35-DS3R and 2 gigs of PC2-6400.
Is the Thermaltake 420W enough? I did searches but didn't have too much luck finding solid answers.
