Thanks for your reply but as I mentioned, its the BIOS readings which display the wrong temp... windows utilities appear to be working correctly, except for msi command center which I imagine gets its reading from the same place the bios does.

A client once asked me to build him a PC that could run 5 monitors with a single video card, the galaxy 560 ti x5 was the only solution I could find and it worked GREAT. So I wouldn't mind owning a 560 ti x5, let alone a 680. So thanks for going the extra mile with extra features. :)

Quick update... I think I found the culprit. I went to my add/remove programs sections and noticed something I installed near the date the crashes started....and it was a bunch of codecs.... I didn't install them intentionally, I installed the Geovision Multiview software that is CCTV...

Sigh... oh well, guess its time to disable/remove stuff one by one till I find the culprit. Thanks for the replies guys :)
