Try reflashing Bios? Helped me sometime get it working when it should have been! And Power Down Full Off... Sometime works for me to... Have a set of 2x8 hynix AFR and every reboot they don't work with settings that ran fine for days before!!!

Ok update my 32gb 16 x2 kits needed 1.4v to be stable at 16-18-18-36 3200mhz on 3900x.... But that was with Stock default 60 ohm ProcODT.... With 36.9 ohms will run at stock 1.35v stable. Working on testing 4 Sticks next. And the lowest Dram Calculator wanted was 48 ohms...

New Micron and Hynix are easier on the mem controller... Even Dual Rank... Samsung B die Dual Rank are hard on AMD mem controller (For all my Ryzen 1,2,and 3 setups)

As for Disk speeds..... Ran 4 250 gig SSDs in Raid-0 from internal sata2 ports(sata3 ports were slower)... 6-7 years ago 1200+ Mbs but no Snappier then one good SSD... Transfers were great but that's it... No real Feel Gains. True PCIe NVME has what i want and no add-in trumps that!

Also have Gigabyte x58 UD3 v2 with i7 970 hex core running video/dvd/ripping daily duties 10+ years also... Qpi volt seem to be the most sensitive.... Cpu volt only seem to matter under 1.3v had at 1.4 but turned down and more stable... running 22 multi on 202 bus 1616 mem on 1T Most settings...

Mine happened because wrong modular cables on wrong power supply... Old Corsair CPU cables pins on power supply side are reversed polarity....

Did the same on a server board ........F!@@#$^$%&....... If your luck power supply protection kicked in or Diodes on the motherboard protected the board... Just plug in the correct cables and test....

Did you try old CPU in both boards? Maybe CPU dying killed both MBoards?
