Hi guys,

I'm going mobile, so I'd like to sell the desktop as a whole.
Priced for quick sale, and I don't really want to be bothered with parting it out.
Specs:
ASRock Z370 Extreme4
I7-8700K @ 4.8GHz all-core overclocked.

The Samsung CF791 is also a 1440P VA panel 100Hz of the same vertical size. It also has a more aggressive 1500R curvature, and there are no complaints of uniformity.
Both of these reviews state good uniformity. No indication of if they specifically checked grey.

Here is a quote from TFTCentral:
"Uniformity of the screen was pretty good, with only small areas of the screen extending beyond a 10% deviance threshold which we would consider decent."
I would consider that your experience was unlucky/bad batch.
Didnt see a thread on this?
Looks like a ridiculous monitor at a reasonable price. 3000:1 contrast. fast response. etc.

My question is, why oh why no 34" Ultrawide version of this...
I have a (down at the moment due to unknown failure) 3tb x 6 RAID 6 (ZFS) array.
Would be awesome to get 6 of these drives for 32TB usable capacity.
But 8TB drives too large for a RAID6?
Also I am/was using FREENAS... (with ZFS) worth continuing or is there another/better OS/FS?
:-)
Nice monitor, boght for my girlfriend to use with surface pro 3. (with DP to Dl-DVI adaptor)
But she returned the SP3 and now uses a MacBook pro and doesn't like using that with external monitor.
So now it's sitting here taking up space.
Great quality display, colors, etc. No major...
Localized gun control doesn't work. Criminals can just bring em from out of city/state.
The only thing that works is country wide gun control. it's proven.
But american was founded on guns, and guns made america possible. So we should/will never see it here.
You can move to Australia or UK...
I will never upgrade my Korean 100Hz 1440p PLS, with 0 lag that I paid $240 for. Not until I can get an OLED screen with 120Hz or higher.
I refuse to support the display industry and their constant rehashing of LCD's.
I don't have a problem with paying a premium price - but give me a premium...
Stop spreading this crap. That monitor was not on my list.
The DP2710LED/ QX2710 do not drop frames. Period. All the way to 135Hz on mine (although you get all kinds of other problems that high.)
I don't care about some review of an unrelated monitor.
Christ.
Ah, your problem is misinformation.
The correct monitors (X-STAR DP2710, Qnix) do not drop frames, and offer zero (0) input lag.
Their only downside is pixel response is a bit slower then a TN.
But the far superior viewing angle and color quality overcomes that, IMHO.
Given that a 1440p Korean overclockable PLS monitor is still the best gaming monitor out there, I'm sticking with it, and will wait for a video card with DVI.
Not only that - Those active DP to dual link adapters bork out over 75Hz or so.
I run one so I can drive a overclockable 120Hz Korean monitor with a DP. The monitor does 120Hz fine over DVI. But with the adaptor, can't get over 70Hz without the adaptor crashing.
If there's no DVI on the...
