Yeah sure it is I didnt know that :) Its just that I put all the equipment away but hey im gonna try this out tomorrow then, but still it doesn't explain why motherboard wont put out any beeps even when there is no memory installed on boot. Shouldnt that directly mean a bad mobo/cpu? I know for...
Dude what do you mean by CPU cover, the black plastic plate attached to the pin-side out of the box? If thats it then yes you are indeed an idio hehe :)
My board is blank there. It seems like its a 'slot' for a microchip but there is nothing
Im sick of all this.. The looks of it is that either my cpu or mainboard is faulty but im not sure exactly wtf is going on. Look here: http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1124000

I have a completely new system that just wont post. Fans/mobolights/hdds start operating but monitor stay on standby, no beeps either. Tried different PSUs tried without memory, tried without chassis... only thing i havent tried is switching the CPU because i dont know anyone i can borrow a...
Since my new system can't post (P5B Deluxe + C2D E6600) I think that the BIOS version might be older than 0604 since thats supposedly the earliest version that makes Core 2 Duo CPUs got compatible with the board.
Only thing I see BIOS related on the mobo is this sticker placed on the PS/2...
Man, how did you complete the protos campaign in starcraft? i remember that was crazy difficult, but then again I've always been a moron with strategic games :)
Edit: I'm amazed to see how many (really) hardcore gamers doesn't keep record of the games they've finished. I know it's kinda geeky but it's still pretty nice having a list telling your history of gaming. :)
By finished I mean when you have completed the main plot in the game. Also add info...
If you mean at the time that the game was created I have to go with Half-life. I thought it was the most immersive and incredible singleplayer experience that beat everything else even for several years to come. Even now we have games with alot better graphics and more advanced gameplay, sure...
128kbit is good, 192 is just notibly better and the best tradeoff. You wont hear difference with stuff higher than 192. There is also 160 kbit wich should be enough for on-the-go listening anyways.
It's very easy to tell the difference of 128kbit and less. It is much more difficult to tell...
about the a900s off the top of my mind...
pros:
soundstage
very non-fatigue "warm" sound
ear warming at winter
comfy as hell (quite lightweight too)
closedback, will keep out quite some comp noise
singlesided cord
cons:
earwax :D after long sessions
ear HEAT at summer
too...
it's funny how everybody thought Live! was the shit back in those days, and now think of it as garbage. Sometimes you wonder if all people think about is how OLD the hardware is, and not really creding how its performing.
Your worst concern is driver support. Your least concern would be the...
i know the deal. My a900s is sounding a tiny bit too pretty / neat, i'd like a more powerful/raw sound signature, thinking deep bass without distortion. Maybe it's the beyers, i think they come closest but i don't know.
I remember when i had the hd497, i was hooking them up to my onboard CMI...
judging by your description "highs seem to be lacking" it probably go down to 22000 Hz or maybe lower, wich should give slightly better performance.. I remember you could do that in older games.. now it just sucks since the performance hit is so small on modern computers. See if you can find...
yea i guess the warm sound + great soundstage is the signature for those cans.. they are great for gaming and jazz/house music. It's 'relaxing at home' cans
