I will buy it eventually but i want to finish the first one before i do so. (About halfway through it atm) Got a massive backlog of games i still need to play. :)
Been playing Wartales on the weekends, and Conan Exiles during the week after i get home from work. Also tried a little on PalWorld but not too much yet.
And for those with a extremely SERIOUS Lady D fetish, Prime 1 Studios has a RE8: Village 26" High Lady D statue up for pre-order. Not cheap though. (Around $1700)
Have 64GB DDR4 in my current PC (2x32GB) and am planning to go to 96GB DDR5 (2x48GB) with my upcoming build. If everything goes well, i'll buy another 96GB set and go to 192GB in the future. Figure it won't hurt to have, and it does seem to help on some games, ect.
When it first came out, i was all for a new PS5. 😍 But after about 2 years of trying to get one at list price i said forget it. Stores would have it online but would sell out before i could grab one, or the scalpers wanted hundreds more for it and i never saw one at a local store until this year...
When i do my next upgrade in the next year or so, i hope to do 128GB Ram. Currently have a TR 3970 with 64GB. Hoping that the next gen stuff on either side will be out by then and seasoned a bit.
Running the game on a 4090 RTX, AMD 3970 CPU and 64GB ram and at 4K. It's been running decently, and it would freeze for a few seconds every now and the till i updated the GPU drivers to the latest version. Still has a stutter or two but MUCH less so far.
As for the game, i'm level 7 atm and...
I too, Pre-Ordered Starfield! (Premium Editon) but there's hope for all who may have this problem of ordering before you should!
If you have the urge to buy a game before it comes out or seem to be succumbing to hype, then there's this pill that may be of help:
Take a few pills whenever you...
Should have a day or two off this weekend, so definitely will play Starfield. (got premium so should have the 5 day head-start)
Probably do a little more BG3, Pathfinder:WoTR also.
Still in EA, but i have tried and am enjoying Sunkenland as a fun timewaster.
Been working 12's since last weekend, so haven't been playing much this week.
Off this weekend so most likely will play City Of Heroes a bit on the free server, a little Star Trek Online, then may dabble in the sims 4 with building houses, and i will definitely play the 1rst Stalker as i never...
I started it, but then decided to play the preceding games in the series to get the full experience. Still on that but i figure i'll get to this game eventually. :)
Been on a MMO kick lately.
After not playing it for years, i dusted off Lord of the Rings Online, and got back into it. (Have a lifetime sub i got way back when so had about 35K points saved up which paid for a few expansions and upgrades, etc)
After that i played a bit on GW2 which i also...
Once it gets to the $10 or less state, it will have players. (Possible that they may eventually have a stellar DLC that changes the whole game but i'm not holding my breath on that)
The ONE good thing about this game is by the time it gets patched, modded and otherwise fixed, it may be cheap enough to actually consider buying and playing it. o_O
Getting mine Friday and will use it during the occasional downtimes i'll get when i'm doing 12's at work. Found my old PsP a while back, and have been playing that alot, so i'm pretty sure i'll get some use out of the Deck.
My current desk is like 8-10 years old so going to get a new one probably in the next year or so. One i want to get is expensive, but i love the Hardwood style and it looks good. (Can also get it with a keyboard tray instead of drawers)
Artist's series Caretta Desk
They also have motorized...
I'm planning 128GB on my next build sometime near or after the end of the year but with luck either newer stuff will be out or prices will go down more. Currently at 64GB on my system atm.
Just as a lark i looked up the RTX 6000 prices on the Nvidia site. it was at $6800 for the RTX 6000 ADA and $4800 for the Nvidia RTX A6000. (Not sure they are the same) Still way too expensive but would love to have 48GB of GPU memory someday though. :coffee:
Does 3DMark have a Benchmark for those with an AMD CPU? Don't get me wrong, my 3970X works great, but apparently the 3DMark program has problems getting a good score with it i think due to all the cores.
Got my 4090 Liquid Suprim tonight. Took me about 4 hours to get it working correctly but all is good now.
For a while my computer wouldn't boot up but found out i had knocked the Power/HDD/Etc LED off the motherboard. Booted up once i put it back.
Tried using the included PSU adapter but it...
Expecting my Suprim Liquid 4090 to arrive today so planning to try it out tonight. Also ordered the 600W Corsair power cable the same day so hopefully that will be in also.
Maybe a little late, but Nowinstock.net has a listing of what's in stock for the 4090's (Plus other things) Been seeing quite a few in stock the last few days on Newegg and some on Amazon.
As someone else on here said, i'll leave it on the first time i play, then usually off unless it's something new or it's interesting. Of course, in games where you can import your own mp3's, etc; i'll play those.
Did the ray-tracing at ultra last night. (4K Resolution) It was playable but not as fluid as before i turned it on. Set it to high and it did make it smoother. Can always go to medium if need be.
As for the game, i've been playing everything on hard except for the duels, which i put at normal...
Have about 3 hours in so far. No crashes or freezing yet, but had a very slight stutter for about 10-15 seconds in the 3 Broomsticks, but none after that. (AMD 3970, a 3090 and 64GB ram probably helps)
Settings are at 4K and Ultra. RTX was minimal also, but turned everything on for my next run...
Why have an OLED as a Desktop Monitor? I try to say, "Why Not?" :geek:
Have the S95B QD-OLED atm as my monitor, and enjoying it a lot. Would have liked it to be about 48", but the smallest of that TV was 55" So....Here i am.
Have found 1 stuck pixel but it's not really noticeable unless you...
